Join me and some of the people who work on USELESS this Sunday for a little picnic at Publish and Be Damned. If you have not gotten your copy of 7, I'll have plenty on hand and some from the archive as well:

The Publish and Be Damned Fair 2008 will be on 3rd August at Rochelle School, Arnold Circus, and will run from 12pm - 6pm. Arnold Circus, E2 is located in the borough of Tower Hamlets

Surveying an abundance of independent publications, Publish and Be Damned demonstrates individual approaches to making and distributing the work of artists, writers and musicians outside of the commercial mainstream through magazine fairs, a touring archive and occasional events.

This website gives an overview of the broad range of material gathered together for Publish and be Damned, from DIY fanzines to glossy perodicals, video compendiums to critical journals, described by the artists themselves.

USELESS edition 7 during Armory, NYC

USELESS will have a dedicated publication booth at the PULSE art fair in New York at March 27-30. Come by and see the new edition, number 7. Meet some of our staff from London and hang out. The fair is at Pier 40 -- located in Tribeca at West Side Highway at West Houston Street.
