> Dairy is a girl’s worst friend
Several studies has linked dairy consumption to a high incidence of breast and other cancers. Breast cancer, the most lethal disease among women under 50, is preventable by eliminating dairy and other animal protein from one's diet and adapting a plant-food based, low-fat diet with added exercise.

> Pigs and young kids share one trait
Farmed animals are far more intelligent than many people may be aware of; chicken, who live for only six weeks before they're eaten by people who get sick eating them, can learn from television; pigs, before turned into bacon or lard, are not only smarter than dogs, they are as intelligent as three year-old human children.

> Recycled pets in pet food
Euthanized pets, along with heads and hooves from cattle, sheep, pigs and horses; whole skunks; rats and raccoons, are 'recycled' (as the industry proudly calls it) into pet food via a process called rendering. While shocking and exceedingly disgusting, commercial pet food also greatly compromises the health of our pets.
The rendering of pets is performed on a massive scale: the city of Los Angeles alone sends 200 tons of euthanized cats and dogs to a rendering plant every month.

> A ’green meat eater’ is an oxymoron
In 2006, a 400-page report by United Nation's Food and Agricultural Organisation entitled Livestock's Long Shadow identified the world's rapidly growing herds of cattle as the greatest threat to the climate, forests and wildlife; a threat to the environment larger than all transportation in the world combined.

> Glycerine is nasty
Glycerine, also called glycerol, is most commonly derived from the process of making soap. By combining rendered animal fats and sodium (soda ash) or potassium (potash), the fats are hydrolyzed, yielding glycerine and crude soap.
The rendering of animals to extract the fats used in soap is a procedure that involves grinding up and boiling euthanized pets, road kill, and anything left from slaughtered animals that is deemed not fit for human consumption.
Glycerine is used in inks, glues, solvents, antifreeze, cosmetics, shampoos, foods, mouthwashes, toothpastes, chewing gum, soaps, ointments, plastics.
