Here's a question
Current mood: tired
Who gives a damn what the kid-toucher had on his way from Thailand to Los Angeles?
Holy crap, the Drudge Report was consumed by it! What a waste of the part of my brain that contains the knowledge that drank champagne and had fried king prawns.
I hope something gets blown up, President Bush gets blown or hell, I'll even endure another lame ass President Clinton scandal and all the HORRID Jay Leno jokes that comes along with it, because if I have to endure another day of news surrounding that impish-looking douche bag, I might have to create some news of my own. I honestly think that the guy that terrorized the Virginia Tech campus was driven insane by CNN's 24-7 coverage of the Michael Jackson wanna-be.

Tell me, was your week worse than this?
Current mood: annoyed
So, I'll fast forward through Monday...it sucked ass. It was Monday, what the hell did you think???
Tuesday: Work was busy but the worst came afterwards. I'm on my way to meet with a guy about a new residence because Downtown Norfolk just doesn't work for me. To shorten the story, I was pulled over for not having my car inspected. For those not familiar with this crap, in Virginia, everyone needs to have their car "inspected". This is not an emissions test just to see if it's functional. I guess it's a decent idea but why not do emissions? Anyway, I had been playing Russian Roulette with the police on this one and I guess I finally spun one into the chamber. So he's lecturing me and I'm dummy-ing up. Then the other shoe drops. My driver's license had expired in April 2006. Whether or not I knew it had expired is a good question for you to ask. I thought I was ABSOLUTELY FUCKED because in addition to having an expired license, I was supposed to get a new license within 30 days after moving here. Few excuses could save me from this ticket and none did. Fast-forward to 30 mins later to me waiting at a Shell Station with the dog for a guy from work to pick my ass up. Did I mention that the occifer (pronounced osifer) took my license since "it wouldn't do you any good now" and told me I couldn't drive the car home. He finally gets there and he proceeds to tell me, "Man, it's a good thing you called when you did. in 5 minutes, I'd have been done." He'd been doing shots with a friend and when I got a good look at him when he dropped me off, his glassy eyes told me that he was surly on his way to being "done". Tuesday ends with no car, no license and me having to get a ride to the DMV in the morning by another co-worker. Let me include that I fell asleep reading that "page-turner" that is the Driver's Manual as I was getting prepared to take the written test as well as the road test. The road test by the way needs to be taken in a "VA Inspected" vehicle, which I did not have as you know. So I get to the DMV and I am immediately told that since I did not have my license (5-O has it) I would have to get a LEARNER'S PERMIT! A FUCKIN' LEARNER'S PERMIT! It later turns out that the old bitch didn't know what the hell she was talking about. I did, however, have to call the Wisconsin DMV and have them fax over a form saying that I did have a WI license that recently expired. I have a feeling that cop knew what he was doing by taking my license...farging icehole! On top of that, work was BUSY AS HELL this week which made my detour to the DMV even worse. But I do now have a "VA Inspected" vehicle and a VA Driver's License.
Oh yeah, I also will be forced to go to court on the 25th of September for the expired license bullshit...stay tuned!

Last Comic Sucking
Current mood: smashing
This is just an observation and actually a question as well. I had the unfortunate happenstance to see the opening of Last Comic Standing and the question came to mind; are the host's jokes that bad on purpose to make the other comics in the competition seem funnier? I mean, this guy, Anthony Clark, is a comic and has a sitcom on CBS. Albeit unfunny, his show has been on for years and I honestly cannot comprehend that even he would write such unfunny dreck. Besides, NBC needs to give up on this POS.

Cable's out...permanently
Current mood: drained
So, for some reason, the local cable company decided to cut off my cable...took them long enough! Hell, they cut off the Digital Service two weeks before pulling the plug. Cox cable is notoriously bad and on top of that, if they haven't got the backbone to stand up for paying customers, (see previous posting) then I honestly can't trust them to spend my hard earned dollars wisely. On top of that, I have found other ways of accessing the internet.
Dammit, does this mean I need to get the ol' creative juices flowing? Screw it, I'll just study for the GRE. Fun, fun...do you know what trenchant means? Well, I do...now.
BTW, morning radio SUCKS around here. I always enjoyed "Bob & Tom" when I was working in Madison but here the only barely tolerable radio program is "Tommy & Rumble"...BARELY. Anyways, one of these douchebags thought it'd be funny to start a Hezbollah Myspace site...hilarious. (I'm not sure how to portray that one more sarcastically. Your suggestions are welcomed.) He's the link if you're curious: http://www.myspace.com/hezbollahofficialsite What goes through people's minds to do some of these things...I mean, this is a GROWN ASS MAN doing that. I'm embarrassed to be younger than him.

So check out this bullshit
Category: News and Politics
The following is a portion of an email I recieved this morning:
Dear Customer,
We are writing on behalf of Cox Communications to advise you that we have received a notification that you are using your Cox High Speed Internet service to post or transmit material that infringes the copyrights of a complainant's members. We have included a copy of the complaint letter. Pursuant to the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), which is codified at 17 U.S.C. 512, upon receiving such notification, Cox is required to "act expeditiously to remove, or disable access to" the infringing material in order to avoid liability for any alleged copyright infringement. Accordingly, Cox will suspend your account and disable your connection to the Internet within 24 hours of your receipt of this email if the offending material is not removed.
I downloaded the movie Munich. I guess COX got a message from this fag: Aaron Markham Director of Internet Anti-Piracy, Worldwide Anti-Piracy Operations NBC UNIVERSAL 100 Universal City Plaza 1220/2 Universal City, CA 91608 tel. (818) 777-4876 fax (818) 866-2155 antipiracy@nbcuni.com
Pretty fuckin' lame but the worst thing is, I downloaded the movie on a whim. I guess not seeing it wasn't that bad of a thing but I have to say it was a shitty thing to wake-up to this morning!

For those of you that have expressed SUCH concern...
Category: Life
The beard is gone. After numerous comments/suggestions/questions, I decided to get it but that's not the last you will have seen of it.
I think some people were jealous of it and due to that fact, it's ego was just getting too big and had to go.
