Meet HATCHET’s Adam Green and Joel David Moore

HATCHET director Adam Green and star Joel David Moore (Dodgeball, Grandma's Boy) will be doing an in-store signing of their new movie SPIRAL on TUESDAY FEBRUARY 26th at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, CA.  The duo will also be joined by SPIRAL star Zachary Levi (NBC's Chuck).

This is a great chance to not only pick up their new film and meet them in person, but to get any of your HATCHET posters or DVDs signed, too.

Dark Delicacies is located at 4213 West Burbank Blvd in Burbank, CA.  The signing begins at 7pm.

You supported HATCHET at the theater, now what?

I want to personally commend all of you HATCHET FANS. I've been running this Myspace site for some time now and I get to read all the comments and emails sent in from all of you.

This weekend alone I have read hundreds of positive emails and comments from Hatchet fans. Everyone that worked on this film truly and honestly thanks each and every one of you. We still need help to spread the word though. Share your honest thoughts about the film wherever you can go ONLINE. Forums, Horror Message Boards, IMDB, etc. All we have is your word of mouth and the free online press. You need to let the world know what you thought about this film so that more people go support it.

If you see a post about downloading the movie. REPORT IT! And then explain to them that our film actually does suffer if it's pirated. It's easy to rationalize downloading something from a multi-million dollar studio. But when Adam Green and Will Barratt and Cory Neal and Sarah Elbert and Myself have actually taken money from our own pockets to finish this film and get people to support it.... It's devastating to see this take place right before our eyes.

HELP US GET HATCHET IN THE MINDS OF AMERICA THE RIGHT WAY !!! IF THE DEMAND IS THERE ANCHOR BAY WILL LISTEN AND THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO MOVE FORWARD.

An urgent plea for support for HATCHET from Chicago fans!!!

Dear Flashback Weekend Horror Fans,

Adam Green's "HATCHET" opened this past Friday. While it is doing sell out business in many cities, the theatres playing "HATCHET" in Chicago have not been selling as many tickets as it should have. This may seriously affect the genre that we all love. If "HATCHET" is not supported, all we may have to look forward to may be more PG-13 "horror" films and bad remakes. And worse, studios may be less likely to give theatrical releases to indie Horror films. We do not want the major studios to control the types of films we can see!

We need every Chicago Horror fan to go out and buy a ticket for "HATCHET" at a theatre TONIGHT (Sunday Sept. 9, 2007)! The opening weekend is all important, and studios often will write off a film if the opening weekend per screen averages are not high enough.

Please buy a ticket for "HATCHET" tonight and save your ticket stub, and we will do something special for you. This will be a free admission into a special all night Horror Festival Drive-In event at the Midway Drive-In (located in northern Illinois). The date of this will be announced.

The success of "HATCHET" is very important to the indie Horror scene. In today's film business where hard R Horror films are becoming fewer and far between, "HATCHET" is a return to the genre of Horror that we all love.

Adam Green has shown such integrity in seeing that his vision of "HATCHET" get made and get distributed theatrically. And "HATCHET" is an incredible film. So everyone PLEASE support "HATCHET" and indie Horror by seeing it in theatres this weekend. The opening weekend box-office totals is what gets the attention of the film industry, so let's all get their attention!

The Arclight has just added an exclusive 12:01am screening for Thursday night!

Live in Los Angeles? Can't wait until Friday to see HATCHET on the big screen? The Arclight Theater has just added an exclusive 12:01am midnight screening for Thursday night! Now you can be the very first in the country to witness the birth of Victor Crowley. Tickets for all Los Angeles shows will go on sale through the Arclight's website tomorrow. Spread the word, share the gore, and rejoice in the fact that the fans have brought old school American horror back to the silver screen.

And you never know who may show up to attend that midnight show...

Speaking of- Director Adam Green and members of the cast will be crashing one of the Friday night screenings at the Arclight with a special introduction for opening night and a Q&A with the audience following the film. The exact showtime will be announced tomorrow.
