My Point of view and my postings on food shortage
My friends of myspace,
First I want to say that I am not trying to spread a bad vibe when I am posting about world food shortages, but to bring awareness about the changing lines that are already shaping the world of tomorrow.
We, in the Western world are rich and are not feeling the pain that other countries have to deal with. We, in the rich Western world are not set apart from what's going on elsewhere, calamities are ignorant of cultures, borders or races.
Economics as a doctrine is driving every aspects of social life, just as religion did during the middle age in Europe. The answer to all that is brewing is not economic, neither politic, scientific or religious.
The answer my friends is about us all, considering hearth as one nation, one kingdom; human, animals, fish, birds, plants and the four elements.
Coming food shortages and inflations are mismanagements and consequences of our collective choices, not only in America, Europe or Asia, but everywhere and by all.
I am only trying to relate to those who are not as fortunate as I am, and using the work of journalist to let you know their reports.

I & me... as in you and I
Category: Religion and Philosophy
I & me
Note:
(Dear reader, when writing «we» in this text, it must be understood that it is the conjunction of «I & me» that speak as one individual. In other words, it is «the soul and my personality» who are speaking as one.)

We have wandered for a long time into the land of duality, of conflicts and unattainable desires. For that much time, we were at war against each other, sometimes reaching for a truce, only to regain strength and get on again to oppose each other in all kinds of manners.
This long wandering on the road to illumination could e called sufferings and purifications of this duality of who we are; of who we are becoming. No words or stories can explain the path; these words we are now using to share our experience on the path are serving only as an evocation for the principle of the meaning of life or dharma.
From were we are standing now, on this never ending path to illumination, we are celebrating the coming of this peace of heart, the peace of mind… a great accomplishment indeed, although our daily life is not much different from what it looked like a year ago. Something to rejoice, because the blossom of this mew state of being give us the feeling of oneness…
But of course, we can clearly see the distinction that set us apart, heart & mind, soul & personality… that this state of being is not something static but rather dynamic, like the flowing of water on the bedrock of a high mountain stream… Water, rocks and the flow… oneness.
This peace we are experiencing has a new color, or should we say, it is colorless as water, reflecting the shades and patterns that are surrounding us.
Being one, being at peace, we can now consider our respective realms and realize that our search for fulfillment must go side by side, altering action and rest, like as in the action of walking, one leg move forward while the other rest firm on the ground. To us, it is a good evocation of the essence of the path to illumination.
In that sense, we see this inner peace as an harmonious setting of alternating activity and rest, between us: heart and mind, soul and personality.
When we are one; in peace, I & me think, speak, feel act and love, and as so, we realize that we are the two columns at the entrance of the sacred temple. If there is a way in this holly place, let me suggest it must be in between us.
We hope this little sharing about us can be useful some how.

la voie du juste milieu
Category: Life

the real meaning for the wizard of OZ (repost)
THE REAL MEANING OF THE WIZARD OF OZ - NOT WHAT YOU MIGHT THINK
Posted By: RayelansMailbag Date: Tuesday, 25 December 2007, 12:25 a.m.
From a reader:
This examination of the subtext of "The Wizard Of Oz" was recently sent to me. Because it's so damn interesting and because there is so much more, I have added to it (see bottom of email). For those of you who have never heard of this take on this classic story, do take the time to check it out. There is far too much for it all to be just a coincidence. That is, unless you're a "coincidence theorist." bwh
The Real Meaning Of "The Wizard of Oz"
"The Wizard of Oz," written by L. Frank Baum, is not a mere child's story.
What is "Oz" a symbol for? Ounces. What is measured in ounces? Gold. What is the yellow brick road? Bricks or ingot bars of gold. The character known as the Straw Man represents that fictitious, ALL CAPS, legal fiction - a PERSON, the Federal U.S. Government created with the same spelling as your birth name. Remember what the Straw Man wanted from the Wizard of Oz? A Brain! No juristic person - legal fiction - paper corporation has a brain because he/she has no breath of life. What did he get in place of a brain? A certificate: a Birth Certificate for a new legal creation. He was proud of his new legal status, plus all the other legalisms he was granted. Now he becomes the epitome of the brainless sack of straw who was given a certificate in place of a grain of common sense.
Now, what about the Tin Man? Does Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) recall anything to mind? The poor TIN Man just stood there mindlessly doing his work until his body literally froze up and stopped functioning. He worked himself to death because he had neither heart nor soul. He's the heartless and emotionless creature robotically carrying out his daily task as though he were already dead. He's the ox pulling the plow and the mule toiling under the yoke. These days, his task masters just oil him nightly with beer and place him in front of a hypnotic television until his very existence no longer has any meaning or value. His masters keep him cold on the outside and heartless on the inside in order to control any emotion or feeling that might arise.
The Cowardly Lion was always too frightened to stand up for himself. Of course, he was a bully and a big mouth when it came to picking on those smaller than he. (Have you ever noticed how bullies are really the biggest cowards? They act as though they have great courage, but, in reality, have none at all. They roar, but with no teeth of authority to back them up.) When push came to shove, the Cowardly Lion always buckled under and whimpered when anyone of any size or stature challenged him. He wanted courage from the Grand Wizard, so he was awarded a medal of "official" recognition. Now, although remaining a coward, his official status allowed him to be a bully, but with officially recognized authority. (He's not unlike the Attorneys who hide behind the Middle Courts of the Temple Bar.) et al ad infinitum.
What about the trip through the field of poppies? Did you notice how this had no narcotic effect on the Straw Man (no brain) or the Tin Man (no heart or soul)? They weren't real people, so drugs could not influence them. The Wizard of Oz was written at the turn of the century, so how could the author have known America was going to be drugged? The Crown has been playing the drug cartel game for centuries. Just look up the history of Hong Kong and the Opium Wars. The Crown already had valuable experience conquering all of China with drugs, so why not the rest of the world? What was the Emerald City? The Federal Reserve System.
Who finally exposed the Wizard for what he really was? Toto, the ugly (or cute, depending on your perspective) and somewhat annoying little dog. Toto means "in total, all together; Latin in toto." What was it that the witch wanted after she alleged that the little dog had bitten her? TOTO. ... everything. Notice how Toto was not scared of the Great Wizard's theatrics, yet he was so small in size, compared to the Wizard, that no one seemed to notice him? The smoke, flames and holographic images of Oz were designed to frighten people into doing as the Great Wizard commanded. Toto simply padded over, looked behind the curtain (the COURT, etc.), saw it was a scam, started barking until others paid attention to him and came to see what all the barking was about. Who was behind the curtain? Just an ORDINARY PERSON controlling the levers that created the illusion of the Great Wizard's power and authority. When Toto pulled back the curtain and completely exposed him, the charade was at an end. (The veil hiding the corporate legal fiction and its false courts was removed.) The Wizard's game was UP. What was he after all? .... a con-man. A FRAUD.
We can see, in this tale, just how loud the bark from a little dog can be. How bout YOUR bark? How big is it? Most of us remain silent and wait to be given whatever food and recognition, if any, by our legal master. Let us not forget those pesky flying monkeys. What perfect mythical creatures to represent the Bar Association Attorneys who attack and control the little people for the Great Crown Wizard, the powerful and grand Bankers of Oz: GOLD! How, finally, was the evil witch destroyed? .... pure, clean water LIQUIDATION! How, at last, did Dorothy get home? She simply clicked her heels. She always had the power, and SO DO WE! What would it take to expose the Wizard for what he is, tearing away his veils? We each need only a brain, a heart and soul --- and COURAGE. Then, and perhaps of the greatest importance, we need to learn HOW to WORK TOGETHER. Only "in TOTO," WORKING TOGETHER as ONE Body of the King of Kings, (whatever name or form that may take for each of us), can we have the freedom given to us. Thought this would be refreshing in light of this continual topic and need for resolution.
ADDITION (bwh)
Also, note that Dorothy did not have a mother or father reference... i.e. no sense of who she was or from where her direct heritage came. In this case, Dorothy's legal guardian was obscurely named Aunt "Em" or "M" for money. That means that money was her "legal tender." Get the double meaning? Even James Bond has to answer to "M." And, who is "M's" secret-ary? Miss Moneypenny. And speaking of money, "tin" was a term for valueless coins back in the day. So, "Tinman" had more than one meaning as the value of our money was degenerating once the Fed came along and produced coins with little or no gold or silver in them and nothing with "witch" to back them.
Let's also not forget that the Wicked Witch of the "West" represented the bankers of the New World (America) who would control its resources and people legally (flying monkeys) and psychotropically (poppies). Dorothy's house (equity) landed upon and killed the Witch of the "East," representing a false sense of security that people from Europe felt when they trekked to the New World. Note how the "little people" began singing Dorothy's praises when she accidentally killed one of the "banking" witches. But, wait. This Witch was from the East, the Old World. So, again a reminder of their false sense of security through song.
Though, to her benefit, what often protected Dorothy throughout her journey was the ruby slippers, which were previously in the possession of the late Witch of the East. In Baum's original story written at the turn of the century, Dorothy's shoes were silver. In other words, she was backed by silver and, therefore, protected against anything that might come her way. The shoes always kept their value and strength even against a scary new banker (or witch in this case). Interestingly, the movie was made just shortly after the Great Depression, which included the government's vicious "gold grab" on behalf of the bankers and wall street.
Further, what was it that awakened the "organics" (Dorothy, the Lion and Toto) in the poppy field? Glenda, the (supposed) good witch covered them in snow. Snow? Nah! It was cocaine (actually a legal stimulant at the time and in Coke, of course), which worked against the effects of the poppy-based opium. Therefore, Glenda is also a ruse of so-called benevolence regardless of the legality of cocaine at the time (we've seen its effects today).
And, notice at the end of the film, this "good" witch knew the secret that would get Dorothy home all along, but didn't tell her right away. What a bitch! Perhaps, this was Glenda's way of having Dorothy learn her own lesson. But, as stated previously, the prizes given by the newly humbled wizard were themselves ruses... ersatz representations of cures and freedoms. So, this journey, or lesson, was ultimately futile.
At the end, the wizard, once he is forced to admit his trickery and subsequently provides his empty gifts, he is not even "charged" by "the people" of the land. He is forgiven and let go to fly away (escape) in a balloon of all things. My guess is that, no matter how often "we the people" maintain vigilance to uproot these banking night crawlers, the message here is that, because of our naiveté, one of them always gets away to start the vicious financial cycle all over again in some New World.
At the end, Dorothy discovers that it was all a dream, "witch" means that whatever lesson she learned she did so while asleep.
And now, here's the really, really big one that might be difficult even for those who already acknowledge the financial subtext of the story to digest. "Hollywood" was created and commissioned by the Illuminati for the purposes of social engineering and mass thought control. Knowing this, note that the desired look and effect that the filmmakers chose for the wizard to use in order to intimidate and scare "the people" into submission was, in fact, quite...
REPTILIAN.

Cherokee wisdom
CHEROKEE WISDOM
TWO WOLVES
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said: "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealously, sorrow, egret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superority and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:
"Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee simply replied:
"The one you feed."

Who is Anhk/Tho/Ra?
Category: MySpace
It is just another name to point to who I am. Giving myself another name on myspace.com do not mean I am different from who I use to be under my previous name, this name too was only a curtain to my usual identity.
This new name I gave to myself is derived from tree distinct words, Anhk, Tho (pronounced zho) and ra; tree words, tree sounds, tree meaning set into one, all originating from the Ancient Egyptian civilization.
For those versed in the mystical techniques of sacred vowels, this name, its meaning could be translate as «the regeneration of life in its activity». Of course, it can have many other meanings as well, depending on the peculiar sensitivity of the reader.
Probably, many of my friends will find this new name quite exotic and unusual, but contrary to Emanation of Love (a friend to me on myspace.com) witch is a translation of «OM», I did not felt inclined call myself: «transmutation of poison into elixir»…
Dave is no more, now I Anhk/Tho/Ra, but I am still the same. To me, this change of name on myspace.com is similar to the principle of reincarnation, I am still the same but now have a new name, a new personality.
Love,
D.

snowflakes and heaven
Current mood: calm
Category: Writing and Poetry
All the planets in the heaven May shed the vibes upon me Good or bad It all depends on me To see it so or so
I listen to their music I gaze their lights in the night Every night I gaze Especially Venus and mercury Before the sun rise
I wait for the moon when she is gone For her to come back Bit by bits Over the trees Next to the railroad track
I don't live much in the Sun I live mostly in the night I reverse of the many Who work and do all day In the traffic jam listening to the weather repports.
Today it snowed And there is more to come tonight Millions of snowflakes falling all like stars of the night Will light up in the beam Under the lamp posts As I if The heaven had decided to pay a visit To the circling earth Were I stand to watch.

"We won’t take it anymore!"
Current mood: cheerful
Category: News and Politics
"We won't take it anymore!"
October 27, 2007 City & County Building Salt Lake City, Utah
Address by Mayor Ross C. "Rocky" Anderson
Today, as we come together once again in this great city, we raise our voices in unison to say to President Bush, to Vice President Cheney, to other members of the Bush Administration (past and present), to a majority of Congress, including Utah's entire congressional delegation, and to much of the mainstream media: "You have failed us miserably and we won't take it any more."
While we had every reason to expect far more of you, you have been pompous, greedy, cruel, and incompetent as you have led this great nation to a moral, military, and national security abyss." "You have breached trust with the American people in the most egregious ways. You have utterly failed in the performance of your jobs. You have undermined our Constitution, permitted the violation of the most fundamental treaty obligations, and betrayed the rule of law.
You have engaged in, or permitted, heinous human rights abuses of the sort never before countenanced in our nation's history as a matter of official policy. You have sent American men and women to kill and be killed on the basis of lies, on the basis of shifting justifications, without competent leadership, and without even a coherent plan for this monumental blunder.
We are here to tell you: We won't take it any more!
You have acted in direct contravention of values that we, as Americans who love our country, hold dear. You have deceived us in the most cynical, outrageous ways. You have undermined, or allowed the undermining of, our constitutional system of checks and balances among the three presumed co-equal branches of government. You have helped lead our nation to the brink of fascism, of a dictatorship contemptuous of our nation's treaty obligations, federal statutory law, our Constitution, and the rule of law.
Because of you, and because of your jingoistic false 'patriotism,' our world is far more dangerous, our nation is far more despised, and the threat of terrorism is far greater than ever before. It has been absolutely astounding how you have committed the most horrendous acts, causing such needless tragedy in the lives of millions of people, yet you wear your so-called religion on your sleeves, asserting your God-is-on-my-side nonsense - when what you have done flies in the face of any religious or humanitarian tradition. Your hypocrisy is mind-boggling - and disgraceful.
What part of "Thou shalt not kill" do you not understand? What part of the "Golden rule" do you not understand? What part of "be honest," "be responsible," and "be accountable" don't you understand? What part of "Blessed are the peacekeepers" do you not understand?
Because of you, hundreds of thousands of people have been killed, many thousands of people have suffered horrendous lifetime injuries, and millions have been run off from their homes. For the sake of our nation, for the sake of our children, and for the sake of our brothers and sisters around the world, we are morally compelled to say, as loudly as we can, 'We won't take it any more!' "
As United States agents kidnap, disappear, and torture human beings around the world, you justify, you deceive, and you cover up. We find what you have done to men, women and children, and to the good name and reputation of the United States, so appalling, so unconscionable, and so outrageous as to compel us to call upon you to step aside and allow other men and women who are competent, true to our nation's values, and with high moral principles to stand in your places - for the good of our nation, for the good of our children, and for the good of our world.
In the case of the President and Vice President, this means impeachment and removal from office, without any further delay from a complacent, complicit Congress, the Democratic majority of which cares more about political gain in 2008 than it does about the vindication of our Constitution, the rule of law, and democratic accountability. It means the election of people as President and Vice President who, unlike most of the presidential candidates from both major parties, have not aided and abetted in the perpetration of the illegal, tragic, devastating invasion and occupation of Iraq. And it means the election of people as President and Vice President who will commit to return our nation to the moral and strategic imperative of refraining from torturing human beings.
In the case of the majority of Congress, it means electing people who are diligent enough to learn the facts, including reading available National Intelligence Estimates, before voting to go to war. It means electing to Congress men and women who will jealously guard Congress's sole prerogative to declare war. It means electing to Congress men and women who will not submit like vapid lap dogs to presidential requests for blank checks to engage in so-called preemptive wars, for legislation permitting warrantless wiretapping of communications involving US citizens, and for dangerous, irresponsible, saber-rattling legislation like the recent Kyl- Lieberman amendment.
We must avoid the trap of focusing the blame solely upon President Bush and Vice-President Cheney. This is not just about a few people who have wronged our country - and the world. They were enabled by members of both parties in Congress, they were enabled by the pathetic mainstream news media, and, ultimately, they have been enabled by the American people - 40% of whom are so ill-informed they still think Iraq was behind the 9/11 attacks - a people who know and care more about baseball statistics and which drunken starlets are wearing underwear than they know and care about the atrocities being committed every single day in our name by a government for which we need to take responsibility.
As loyal Americans, without regard to political partisanship -- as veterans, as teachers, as religious leaders, as working men and women, as students, as professionals, as businesspeople, as public servants, as retirees, as people of all ages, races, ethnic origins, sexual orientations, and faiths -- we are here to say to the Bush administration, to the majority of Congress, and to the mainstream media: "You have violated your solemn responsibilities. You have undermined our democracy, spat upon our Constitution, and engaged in outrageous, despicable acts. You have brought our nation to a point of immorality, inhumanity, and illegality of immense, tragic, unprecedented proportions."
But we will live up to our responsibilities as citizens, as brothers and sisters of those who have suffered as a result of the imperial bullying of the United States government, and as moral actors who must take a stand: And we will, and must, mean it when we say 'We won't take it any more.
If we want principled, courageous elected officials, we need to be principled, courageous, and tenacious ourselves. History has demonstrated that our elected officials are not the leaders - the leadership has to come from us. If we don't insist, if we don't persist, then we are not living up to our responsibilities as citizens in a democracy - and our responsibilities as moral human beings. If we remain silent, we signal to Congress and the Bush administration - and to candidates running for office - and to the world - that we support the status quo.
Silence is complicity. Only by standing up for what's right and never letting down can we say we are doing our part. Our government, on the basis of a campaign we now know was entirely fraudulent, attacked and militarily occupied a nation that posed no danger to the United States. Our government, acting in our name, has caused immense, unjustified death and destruction.
It all started five years ago, yet where have we, the American people, been? At this point, we are responsible. We get together once in a while at demonstrations and complain about Bush and Cheney, about Congress, and about the pathetic news media. We point fingers and yell a lot. Then most people politely go away until another demonstration a few months later.
How many people can honestly say they have spent as much time learning about and opposing the outrages of the Bush administration as they have spent watching sports or mindless television programs during the past five years? Escapist, time-sapping sports and insipid entertainment have indeed become the opiate of the masses. Why is this country so sound asleep? Why do we abide what is happening to our nation, to our Constitution, to the cause of peace and international law and order? Why are we not doing all in our power to put an end to this madness?
We should be in the streets regularly and students should be raising hell on our campuses. We should be making it clear in every way possible that apologies or convoluted, disingenuous explanations just don't cut it when presidential candidates and so many others voted to authorize George Bush and his neo-con buddies to send American men and women to attack and occupy Iraq.
Let's awaken, and wake up the country by committing here and now to do all each of us can to take our nation back. Let them hear us across the country, as we ask others to join us: "We won't take it any more!"
I implore you: Draw a line. Figure out exactly where your own moral breaking point is. How much will you put up with before you say "No more" and mean it?
I have drawn my line as a matter of simple personal morality: I cannot, and will not, support any candidate who has voted to fund the atrocities in Iraq. I cannot, and will not, support any candidate who will not commit to remove all US troops, as soon as possible, from Iraq. I cannot, and will not, support any candidate who has supported legislation that takes us one step closer to attacking Iran. I cannot, and will not, support any candidate who has not fought to stop the kidnapping, disappearances, and torture being carried on in our name.
If we expect our nation's elected officials to take us seriously, let us send a powerful message they cannot misunderstand. Let them know we really do have our moral breaking point. Let them know we have drawn a bright line. Let them know they cannot take our support for granted - that, regardless of their party and regardless of other political considerations, they will not have our support if they cannot provide, and have not provided, principled leadership.
The people of this nation may have been far too quiet for five years, but let us pledge that we won't let it go on one more day - that we will do all we can to put an end to the illegalities, the moral degradation, and the disintegration of our nation's reputation in the world.
Let us be unified in drawing the line - in declaring that we do have a moral breaking point. Let us insist, together, in supporting our troops and in gratitude for the freedoms for which our veterans gave so much, that we bring our troops home from Iraq, that we return our government to a constitutional democracy, and that we commit to honoring the fundamental principles of human rights.
In defense of our country, in defense of our Constitution, in defense of our shared values as Americans - and as moral human beings - we declare today that we will fight in every way possible to stop the insanity, stop the continued military occupation of Iraq, and stop the moral depravity reflected by the kidnapping, disappearing, and torture of people around the world.

Élargissement du champ de la conscience
Category: Religion and Philosophy

Destiny and the crossroad
Current mood: good
Category: Blogging
I don't remember who said it, but he wrote that you «can judge a man's actions, but not the ma itself».
In an ideal world, choices should be based on principles, then on law and at last, on circumstances. But in the real world, most of our choices are made by instincts, feelings upon circumstances. It is not difficult to realize it is still the best way to survive in our fast paced lives, but it is odd to feel we are struggling to survive in this world of plenty.
But this blog is about destiny and crossroads, not about how furiously fast we are driven by rhythm of our age. Most people think of destiny as something exterior of themselves, weather divine, karmic of magical. But in fact, destiny is just a set point we gave to ourselves and when destiny seems to strike it is only that circumstances made the thing happen, as an unsuspected response to our desires, ideal or hopes.
Too many people are fatalistic about their lives, and when one refers to destiny, it is mostly said on a fatalistic way… We were bound to meet, or he was destined to be a great man/woman, etc,. Being fatalistic, is a way of denying the fact that; we do exercise our ability to choose what's so ever the circumstances. We choose all the time, but all our choices are not in the field of our consciousness. If there is a source to the illusion of fatalistic destiny, it is in the real of unconsciousness.
When a crossroad is in sight, we then know we will have to make a choice. Every one of us had, at some point of their lives, to make such a choice. One way or the other, the known or the unknown? The right or the left. Should I stay or should I go as the song goes.
Crossroads are moment in our lives to light up unconscious ideas of a peculiar field of existence. Being at a crossroad, confront us to the shadows of our past, the fear of the unknown the perpetual challenge to adapt to the ongoing transformation of the Creation. It is our choices that matter, not the circumstances that brought us to a crossroad.
I encourage you to be bold and honest with yourselves when confronted to hard choices, since these two virtues are essential to keep the steer of your life on the conscious level. By realizing you are always free to make choices, by being bold and honest, destiny will not sound fatalistic to you anymore, nor it will make you feel as a victim or transform you as a predator. Slowly but steadily, fears will vanish from your mind and every circumstance will become opportunities to choose again and again.
When facing a crossroad, don't think of it as the last one, but always as another one on your path. Learning on the path is in direct filiations with the awareness of our past choices and opportunities that were given.

WE
Did you ever get to the point of serenity next to the loved one? Just being together, being next to, close, warm, cherished? Just being one, felling the self, in silence, calmness, peacefully? To have no needs, no hunger, no emptiness to fill? Did it matter? Why? There are no needs to answer the «why» actually, because we know that just being there, as one, is the answer.
