In a Corner

I set in a corner with my knees at my chest, waiting and wondering if my mom is really at rest. God took her one lonely night, now I only pray she can see the light. All her pain gone from her body with her Angel wings opened wide. When she took her last breath all I did was cried.

As I set in the corner with my knees to my chest, I pray Dear Lord, please set my mind and heart at rest. I miss my Mother's touch and her hugs. My dear sweet Angel Mother came to me one night, and said "I love you April" as she gave me kisses. Was she in my dreams or was it real, because it was like I could really feel her neel beside me and wrap her arms around me.

I set in a corner with my knees at my chest, tears flowing down my cheeks like pouring rain. Thanking God he took all of my Mothers pain.
