Purgatory Comics Production Diary
Hey gang
For an in-depth look at the production of the new movie "Purgatory Comics," visit the production diary often. You'll get posts from the director as well as some of the cast, and also an occasional video entry. It will be updated far more than this blog, and it will also be part of the upcoming film's web site (expected to launch some time next month...maybe).
Drop some comments too. Show the love

Viacom + Youtube = Crap.
You might be wondering where all my youtube videos went. I was at first too. Read on to see how this is a curse but also a blessing.
This month, Viacom demanded that youtube delete 10,000 videos which they felt infringed on their trademarks. According to Viacom, something in "Disorderly Conduct Episode Four," which was the Halloween special, was guilty of this crime. Upon racking my brain over this for awhile, I figured it had to be a song that's featured in the very beginning of the episode. It's a remix done by my friend's brother, which includes partial (and by partial I mean "split-second") clips of the Transformers theme song. That has to be it, right? Everything else in that episode (my favorite episode, by the way) is 100% mine. And this summer, there is a big-budget Transformers movie coming out by Paramout...which is owned by Viacom.
Youtube is crap to me right now. It's one thing if they're gonna bend at the will of Viacom and delete a video, but they deleted my entire account. And without warning. It was up to me to figure out what the hell I did wrong. At first I thought it might've been my Godzilla Rap video, or the Cartoon Confession sketch. But it turned out to be the DC Halloween Special. How do I know this? Because every page that once has a video now says something like "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation," but the page that had DC4 says "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Viacom International Inc."
And that's it. A few clicks of your mouse will lead you to discover many MANY people who have been screwed the same way. Some were deleted simply for parodying properties owned by Viacom. All of my videos are gone, including over a year of wonderful feedback and comments.
But from the ashes of the old...
WarmMilkComics as we know it is going through a major transition. Soon, the site and everything will become WarmMilkProductions.com and WarmMilkPro.com. Since my old youtube account was under the old name, I used this opportunity to create a new account with the new name. I'm now on youtube as WarmMilkPro, and I'm putting most of my videos back on.
In the meantime, ALL of the Disorderly Conduct's are still available on DailyMotion.com. Thanks for the support, guys.
See you soon, Youtube.

Update on production diary settings!
I set it so anyone can leave comments, not just Blogger users. Sorry about that, I hadn't realized it was set that way. Make with the comments! And look for a new entry today which will reveal the logline of the upcoming project!

Check out the Production Diary for my Newest Project
Hey folks,
If you're wondering why it's been so quite, it's because I've been over here writing and planning a huge project for 2007. Something larger in scope than I've ever attempted before. I'm doing a full-lenght comedy picture, and unlike my previous works, this will have a budget (and it won't be a one-man crew). I'll be writing about every step of the process in my new production diary. I encourage you all to interact with me there, and keep checking back on it for updates. You can subscribe to it's feed if you've got computer smarts (this is really easy if you use a yahoo homepage...just click the blue box with the white cross in the toolbar).
I'll still be posting projects and announcements here, but that blog is the one to go to for the in-depth stuff. Thoughts, script pages, plans, videos, and more. I run much better on the motivation of others, so please stop by often and read up on the currently untitled project (when I get a title, the blog name will change. Promise).
Here it is!

Godcast Book II
The bulk of this skit was shot at the same time as the first Godcast skit (available for free on itunes). Months would go by before I was finally able to shoot the rest. Here it is!
Godcast Book II This is the second Godcast skit where God answers your letters. To see the first, and other great skits, subscribe to the free Disorderly Conduct podcast on itunes or visit this blog.
