WOLFMOTHER WIN AN APRA AWARD

The APRA Awards were held in Sydney last night and Wolfmother were awarded with the gong for their Grammy & ARIA winning song "Woman". The category was the "Most Played Australian Work Overseas".

WOLFMOTHER ROCKS HIDDEN VALLEY

After rockin' out at this year's BASSINTHEGRASS, Wolfmother are heading back to Darwin for more of that lovely NT sunshine. Andrew, Chris and Myles are playing Hidden Valley next month.

The band's second trip to Darwin in a month and a half will have them play the Race and Rock concert which will kick start after the end of racing on Saturday July 5th during the 11th V8 Supercar Championship Series weekend at Hidden Valley Raceway. What's more, there will be free buses available to get race and concert goers to and from Hidden Valley. Keep checking the NT Transport Group's website which will have up-to-date info closer to the show date.

Get your hands on a  one-day ticket to the races on Saturday for $35, or a three-day $70 Hot Pass and  your ticket will get you into the concert too!

WOLFMOTHER HEADLINE SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls the mighty WOLFMOTHER will headline the closing night of the SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS festival on Sunday August 3.

This announcement comes just two weeks after the band played their first show in nine months at the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane. WOLFMOTHER will bring their freaked out jamming and delicate melodies to the Splendour stage in the Belongil Fields, Byron Bay.

Other bands on the bill include the amazing DEVO, label mates The Presets, Sigur Ros, The Fratellis, PNAU, The Vines, MSTRKRFT with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

WOLFMOTHER...UP LATE WITH ANDY WARHOL

Rock n roll and art unite as Wolfmother announce their first gig in 9 months! The band will play a special one off "Up Late" show on Saturday April 12 at the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane.

The band - all fans of modern art - jumped at the chance to play the closing night of the exhibition. Myles, Chris and Andrew (now a Brisbane local) will take to the stage surrounded by over 300 pieces of Andy Warhol portraits, instillations, films and paintings, all currently on show at the gallery.

Wolfmother - known for their blistering live performances are set to close the exhibition with an unforgettable show. "Up Late" is open to ALL AGES (+18 must show current photo ID to drink). Tickets are strictly limited and on sale RIGHT NOW.
