See you crying baby...not sure what to say
Would it help if I pledged to love you every day?
Rocks on the rails will never stop this driving train...
Even when the strain of love can drive us both insane...

Doubts dissolved my sweet, I've got a debt to pay.
I will never change my mind, I'm here to stay.

Ever wonder if this path we walk is straight and true?
I mean I know you love me and I know that I love you.
But sometimes at night when the cold wind softly moans.
Even pressed together we sometimes feel so all alone.

I don't care what tomorrow brings, I'm loving you today.

Throughout all the years we've trusted in this love...
Our little piece of Shangri-La, sweet mana from above.

smokeless

smoke less

the pack is crumpled, dead

no more cloud around my head

ashen tears and streaked lung lining...worthless toil.

my kids can now embrace daddy...without recoil.

the cloud has been lifted

the pack...non-existant.

   Branches envelope me.

Lift me to the eaves,

   Where I can serenade thee.

With a voice of sandpaper,

   coarse and gravelly.

and yet infused with so much love...
