With Mercury having turned retrograde today @ 3:17 am EDT and John McCain (A Virgo, ruled by Mercury) reacting exactly on cue with his bombshell announcement to both 'suspend' his campaign and 'withdraw' from the first of three Presidential Debates, scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26, against challenger Barack Obama... I thought why not resurrect and share with all something that was so predictable, that hell... I predicted it!

I had been working on this topic for the list, and I wasn't prepared to go ahead with it just yet, but it appears the crazy train that is John McCain is leaving the station ahead of schedule. Here is a sample of what I been preparing concerning John McCain and Mercury Retrograde, which now seems twice more urgent then when I was
preparing it only a few short days ago.

My friends, its that time again - time for planet Mercury, the cosmic trickster to have a bit of fun with Mr. McGaffe himself, John Sidney McCain III.

On September 4, 2008, transiting Mercury at 7 Libra will have entered upon its pre-retrograde shadow, also known as the warning shadow. (The 'warning shadow' begins once Mercury arrives at the degree where it will later turn direct.)

Come next week, Mercury in loud-voiced Libra, will be moving below its average speed and slowing down, as well it will now become increasingly weaker in strength and more vulnerable. (NOTE: Sept. 4, John McCain is expected to accept his party's nomination for president and address the Republican National Convention)

During this warning shadow period, Mercury will be in transit of John McCain's natal twelfth house (of self-undoing, sabotage and institutions) and making a tense quincunx (150 degree aspect) to natal Uranus (of upset and surprise), from the natal seventh house. It's important to keep in mind that the twelfth house holds all the mistakes and sorrows of the past. It contains all our shame, silent pain, and misdeeds, as well as everything we would most like to keep hidden about ourselves.

Hmmm? What could John McCain be hiding?

Mercury rules all types of communication, including listening, speaking, writing, learning, reading, researching, editing, debating and negotiating, as well as all systems of transportation, shipping, and travels. Mercury also rules all types of code; moral codes of conduct, laws and rules, the Constitution, computer encryption,
subliminal messages, or our speaking in code for the purpose of secrecy, i.e.,
akema ona istakema, ohnja cCainMa sia razyca!!!

Also included under Mercury's domain; teachers, young children, students, salespeople, analysts, spin-doctors, critics, journalists, wordsmiths, translators, delivery persons, messengers, but also liars, forgers, cheaters, thieves, and swindlers.

When this planet retrogrades, all these areas tend to breakdown and be more troublesome, muddled, or spin out of control. This happens because speed and direction of a planet matter.

The faster a planet is moving, relative to its average speed, the stronger it is; the slower its motion, the weaker it becomes. Naturally, a planet that 'appears' to be moving in the wrong direction is more concerning and confusing to us, than if it were
moving along normally and direct in motion. When a planet is about to change direction, it will gradually lose speed until it becomes stationary; these stationary periods or apparent nap-time cycles are times of great pandemonium.

John Frawley, author of 'The Real Astrology' explains the phenomenon of a retrograde planet well, saying:

"A planet in its first station (when it is turning round to go backwards) it is likened to a man taking to his sickbed: he feels dreadful and is going to get worse. A planet in its second station (turning back to forward motion) is likened to a man rising from his sick bed for the first time; he still feels wobbly and vulnerable, probably worse than he did when still lying in bed, but from now on he knows that things will get better."

Understandably, Mercury retrograde periods are not considered the best time to accept or start a new job, or hire a new employee, or launch any new endeavor, or to leave something undone, or to overlook even seemingly minor details, or forget to follow-up on something important. The environment will be quite fluid and changeable, no
matter what you are told - or what you think.

With that it mind lets turn our attention back to the 2008 GOP presidential hopeful, John Sidney McCain III.

What is this surprise revelation (Uranus) that Mercury is alerting us to?

Lets see... we all know about the forgotten first wife, Carol, a former swimsuit model and the mother of his three eldest children. The first wife who gained just a bit too much weight as a result of life-threatening injuries. The wife John McCain chose to dump and divorce for a younger, 25-year-old rich socialite named Cindy, a beer
heiress, who by the way also very happily financed his start in politics.

A great American love story if I ever heard one, but no, it can't be that.

What then?

Oh! I know, maybe Mercury is alerting us to the obvious fact that John McCain is 'unstable' and more diminished mentally, than is known, as demonstrated in both the natal horoscope (Mercury twelfth house 2 Libra quincunx Uranus) and in the current transits as Mercury begins to retrograde in the twelfth house quincunx natal Uranus.

I dont know about most people, but I personally cannot afford the luxury of watching this already frail and confused man further deteriorate and become more senile with each passing day.

As the pre-retrograde 'warning shadow' increases in intensity between September 4 thru 23rd, John McCain is likely to create many problems for himself due to his inability to maintain focus on even the most routine tasks and responsibilities.

As Mercury slows down in speed, a tendency to irritate those around him because of his willful blindness and know-it-all attitude will increase. McCain's own nervousness, irritability and inability to listen to those who are more experienced will cause him difficulties that could have easily been avoided. Sometimes its the little things
that do us the most harm.

It is also likely he will suffer additional trouble for having arranged and made available key positions to his friends - these are likely to be 'friends' or 'associates' who are not adequately qualified to handle the responsibilities that are given to them.

September 19 - 23, the final few days before Mercury turns backwards will be especially intense and notable, as will be the first five days of retrograde, September 24 - 29.

Barack Obama opened the Pandora's Box last night concerning McCain's
temperament and judgment. Expect this issue, especially now with this
pick of Sarah Palin, to get plenty of traction right up until election day.

A Stargazers Notebook: Autumn Equinox, 2008

The meaning of Temperance is always made easier for Tarotologists when we attach to it the easy-going concepts of moderation, balance, peace at all costs, and harmony. Like any accommodating gracious host, Temperance, asks that we carry ourselves with composure and poise - that wear a big smile and appear relaxed, friendly and self-assured, even in such times where we probably should be plagued with tormenting anxiety, fear and doubt.

In the card of Temperance we see the image of a winged 'god-like' being, clad in a white gown openly conducting an experiment or ritual in the full light of day. His one foot is in the water, the other is planted on land. He is focused on the deliberate transfer of water from one golden chalice to the next, careful not to spill a single drop. The act of pouring denotes transformation - the water is of course the vital fluid which sustains all life - the winged being in this card is simply passing the water from one golden vessel (or order) to another golden vessel (order) - again careful not to spill a single drop back into the pool from which it came.

To the extent where outrage was warranted and the American should have kicked up a fuss... but instead remained silent and numb... or that the blatantly obvious and significant is so little recognized or even understood by the dumbed down masses... or this ability we have to look reality straight in the eye and deny it... all of it can no longer be dismissed as a mistake.

We have reached an irrevocable tipping point in our collective history. We have lost our balance.

If we look closer at the card of Temperance with all its various abstract masonic symbols, at least in the Rider-Waite symbology, it appears the card was designed to openly mock the lesser illuminated among us, and thus in all fairness, this should not surprise us. When it comes to ignorance, not caring and not knowing, of course, go hand in hand.

Lastly, notice the clear, unobstructed path leading to a shiny crown (or city) upon a hill. The path has been paved clear for what comes next in the cycle... in the tarot, we call the next step in the path The Devil; enslavement, powerlessness, ultimate control... others might recognize it as, Pluto's reign in Capricorn.

We are knee deep in Orwellian waters and there is not a happy conclusion to be had here. No reward will be issued for our collective failing to maintain the delicate balance of powers the Framers enshrined in the Constitution.

The reality is we have lost our balance, and the future, well... as they say, the devil is in the details.

The Autumn Equinox of September 22, 2008, shows the sign of Scorpio (intense, cynical) rising on the Ascendant. The malefic fixed star Algol (pile of corpses) is found setting on the Descendant. While the duration of the Autumn Equinox is generally in effect up until the time of the Winter Solstice (December 21, 2008), this time around given the presence of a Fixed-sign on the Ascendant, we could feel vibrations of this 13-week solar cycle up to a full year, and possibly longer.

The first house is considered the most important because it represents the general condition of the country, as well as the American people, their feelings and general health, and how happy or unsettled they may feel.

The late degree of Scorpio on the Ascendant leaves little doubt that things could soon get very intense, very nasty and very, very ugly. Scorpio is an eagle-eyed, very perceptive sign, and not one that enters blindly into bullshit agreements or short-sighted middle-ground compromises. Scorpio tends to operate on extremes - its always all or nothing with Scorpio, allowing no grey area in-between. To apply the natural Scorpio tendency and characteristic upon the American people the words 'unforgiving and revenge seeking' come to mind. Scorpio will either love completely or hate with the burning intensity of a thousand suns. There is no quicker way to make an enemy of Scorpio than to take something that belongs to them, especially if that something is their money or sense of personal power and control. Again, given the current financial crisis and prevailing political mood, things across the American landscape should soon get very intense, very nasty and very, very ugly.

Mars, the planet of forcefulness and traditional planetary ruler to Scorpio, represents first house or Ascendant. Mars is found in sign detriment - Libra, in the eleventh house along with Mercury at 22 degrees Libra and Venus 28 Libra. Interestingly, the eleventh house is the house where your tax-dollars are being held, and for this reason it represents the assets and resources available to the government. Mars, is in aspect to both Neptune (deception, illusion) from the third house (of public opinion, media) and Pluto (criminal conspiracy, hidden agendas) from the second house (of national wealth, values). The sign of Libra (harmony, peace) is not the easiest placement for Mars, as it makes it difficult for the God of War to express anger, aggression, and spontaneous rage. As a result a lot of inner tension and frustration begins to build - that is, until Mars reaches its breaking point, and it will... then watch out!

It is easy to see by the connection Mars has to both Neptune and Pluto that the American people are disillusioned and disgusted by the Congress and the government as a whole, especially when it comes to being rushed and forcibly pushed into extraordinary big changes - changes that include financing bad debts and handing out corporate charity all the while knowing the real disaster is still yet to come. But, in the absence of a better solution or even a clear understanding of the problem, most feel frightened, intimidated and powerless to do anything about it.

This is the Autumn Equinox folks. The Sun's entrance into Libra brings on the beginning of colorful leaves and cooler weather, but it also marks the season of decline and the fall. The harvest is here, the time of gathering in the crops, of which will determine one way or the other whether we can survive the many cold days and dark nights ahead. This is also the moment of collective karma; the moment of accountability and consequence where payment comes due for our past choices and actions or for our indecision and inaction.

Looking back over the broad political landscape how important do issues such as Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction, steroids in baseball, Terri Schiavo, lapel pins, lipstick and spirited preachers seem now?

The Autumn Equinox Moon is strong in the sign it rules - Cancer, and finds position in the eighth house. The eighth house represents death, taxes, financial conditions with foreign countries and money owed to us by them. Mercury rules this house and Mercury is with Mars in the eleventh house. Mercury is moving so slow it is all but stalled due to the coming period of retrograde. The significator of both the tenth house (president) and the eighth house (death, debt and taxes) turning retrograde tells us that neither the president nor his kitchen cabinet are revealing their true motives or intentions entirely, we know this because retrograde planets often have much that they keep to themselves. Mercury in Libra describes a person that speaks of harmony and security, who seems kind and obliging, and can gently coax others into the blind obedience of his plans. But, at least for now when it comes to the areas Mercury signifies, I can say with a high level of confidence, "there is more here, much, much more than meets the eye."

Generally the Moon in a mundane map represents a nations domestic affairs, as well as the peoples opinions and feelings. Knowing the reality and looking at the Autumn Equinox chart its hard not to get depressed or feel fearful and worried. We got a lot of problems. The tables have turned - we are a debtor nation - have been since 2006. It is America that now finds itself waiting in line for foreign financial assistance and rescue. As far as a bailout for the American tax-payer whatever is given will amount to peanuts... just enough to give the appearance of protecting the tax-payer, anxious borrower and nervous homeowner. Because the planet Mercury co-rules the tenth house it is a planet we will need to watch.

The tenth house is an important house because it has rulership over the president and the current administration. In the period of the next 13-weeks the tenth house is ruled by Mercury, which is severely afflicted by the condition of retrograde and aspects from Mars, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. To this I might add, Saturn's position in the tenth house, that of which is often an indication of disgrace in the office of the president. In this time frame both an afflicted Mercury in combination to Saturn in the tenth house may bring some disgraceful behavior in high places and perhaps a death in office of someone very important near or around the time Mercury leaves its retrograde shadow, Neptune goes direct and Saturn comes to opposition with Uranus; the dates we're looking at here would include the period between October 20 thru November 4, 2008.

The seventh house is an important house in the division of the mundane map because it governs the relationship we have with other nations. This would include wars and talk of wars, and all matters which arise in the dealings of our country with another. The seventh house is in the degree of Caput Algol. This is a a evil fixed star set in the Constellation of Taurus, known to symbolize strangulation, beheading, violence and murder. This evil degree warns that we use extreme caution and not lose our heads during this period or allow our anger and rage to devour common sense.

The strongest aspect in the Autumn Equinox period is that between Venus, ruler the seventh house, sextile Pluto from the second house. Generally Venus increases the prosperity of the country, promises good feelings between the various classes of the population, and tends to preserve the peace. Venus is in a fortunate condition by sign and house which should bode well for the legislative branches of government and help in settling any party differences between them. But, the sextile aspect between Venus and Pluto warns of the opportunity for Congress to fall victim to schemes, manipulation and political ultimatums or that they may easily go along with a compromise that also works in a corporate power grab, like that which we see hidden in the language of Henry Paulson's banking bailout proposal. Acting too quickly is a real and imminent danger facing all parties of this particular and important branch of our government.

As the Ingress period begins, Venus is in the strongest position of any planet in the chart. Venus (the Congress) however, will take a turn for the worst come 10:59 pm EDT Tuesday, September 23, when she enters upon the dark murky swamp of corruption and vice, that is Scorpio. While its easy to be cynical, there is a bright side here to Venus entering her sign detriment at this time of crisis: 1.) Having moved away from Libra - a quick moving action oriented Cardinal Air sign to that of a more "once bitten, twice shy" steady, stubborn sign of Scorpio, shows that any forceful insistence that the Congress act with speed will likely fall on deaf ears. 2.) Once in Scorpio, Venus will share in a mutual reception with Mars in Libra. Remember, Mars is ruler of the Ascendant - the American people. The mutual reception between these two planets shows a strong shared interest and common purpose. So, while both the American people and the Congress are both in a less than ideal position, the American people in this time of trouble will lend support to Venus through her period of difficulty - that is, but only for so long as the Congress is willing to dig in its heels, fight to the death and remain strong through this mess. And... 3.) Of that charming air-head hockey mom from Alaska who fancies herself a worthy, viable running mate to John McCain, and whom also expects those of logical and rational mind to take her and her nomination, er, "seriously"... um, yeah, from the mouth of this so-called elitist Northeast liberal, "Fagettaboutit!" Once Venus leaves Libra - the sign of her strength and rulership and moves into the detrimental piranha filled waters of Scorpio, Sarah Palin, will find that a winning smile and bubbly personality alone, absent any real substance beneath the shiny surface, will no longer prove to be enough.

Finally, it is important that we look at the fourth house. The fourth house is a very important division of the mundane map because it too is angular and has rulership over the land; agriculture, crops and mines, as well as natural and weather related disasters; earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes and floods. It also governs the opposition party to the current government in power (Democrats). Jupiter the traditional ruler of Pisces is ruler of this house. Jupiter 12 Capricorn from the second house (financial condition of the country, banks) is in both the sign that Saturn rules and in aspect to Saturn from the tenth house.

In an Ingress chart Saturn is generally a figure of misfortune, scarcity and need, especially when angular as it is here in the Autumn Equinox. The waxing trine aspect between Jupiter and Saturn is fortunate for the stock exchange, for traders, international bankers and national finance in general - that is, if some favorable changes and protective measures are made to how these institutions are allowed to operate - if not, down the road when these two meet again under more stressful conditions we will be looking at a more hostile and complete disaster. Jupiter, direct in motion, is moving through the last two decanates of Capricorn, as it does it will move off its current opposition with the United States Sun 12 Cancer and remain in favorable aspect to Saturn in Virgo and sextile Uranus in Pisces. The state of our economy should show signs of improve between now and the General Election.

On November 4, 2008 - Election Day, Saturn will move into exact opposition with Uranus. In an Ingress chart Uranus can bring upheavals, revolutions, anarchy, mass panic, plane crashes, train derailments, explosions, earthquakes, hurricanes, strikes, riots, powerful lightning storms and damaging high winds. Saturn in the tenth house of current ruling power does not bode well for a John McCain presidency.

In general Saturn in bad aspect to Uranus creates a very disturbed national political scene, important great changes are predicted, and oppressive reforms or measures could be attempted. Given this one must wonder if there will be an election come the 4th of November? Looking at the Autumn Equinox one could get the impression that we might not have a General Election or that it could be postponed, delayed due to some disaster that besets the country or government or due to the death or resignation of one of the candidates.

The death of some statesman or prominent person in the country seems likely, although the testimony for which seems strongest during the period surrounding the November full moon (in terms of timing we're talking about November 12 thru the 19th). There are mixed signals as it concerns the election, yet if the people are allowed to vote on November 4, 2008, and the vote is clean and honest, the aspects and signs strongly favor a historic big win for Obama!

A Stargazers Notebook: Caylee Marie Anthony - A little bird told me

Hello fellow Stargazers, welcome new readers, and warm smiles to all visitors who have found their way here from the Websleuths crime blog - which a little bird tells me today, is a community discussion blog that this blog is now featured on.

I don't exactly know how my insignificant little presence found its way over to Websleuths, or in what capacity the information is being used or distributed, or who is responsible for promoting my work, but I suppose the proper thing would be for me to say thank you for the expressed interest, the encouragement and the nice words.

In recent days Hurricane Ike and the financial collapse on Wall Street have taught me that I probably need to curb this tendency I have for either holding back completely on some things while at other times being too absolute in other pronouncements, especially as it concerns timing. More times than not, my timing is slightly off. Yeah, of course, its freakin annoying like you don't know.

For example, in the reading of the Summer Solstice I offered the following:

People of the nation should take a serious and cautious approach especially when traveling, allow me to say even more so if your travel plans include a trip anywhere in or around Texas or the Gulf Coast states.

It is a common situation that wherever Neptune is involved you can bet "Big Oil" is involved and wherever "Big Oil" is involved we find nothing but runaway greed, lies and illusion, smoke . . . mirrors, and situations where all is fake, false and fabricated.

Wherever we find Neptune nothing is as it appears. Accordingly then with the second eclipse of the season - a lunar eclipse (24 Aquarius) conjunct the Summer Solstice position of second house Neptune this promise of "big financial trouble" will probably be of the, "isn't that convenient" for Wall Street
speculators, rich oil-tycoons, George W. Bush and VP Cheney, convenient for everyone but the American taxpayer, variety.

Come the month of August I would personally steer clear of Texas and the Gulf Coast area given the number of oil-refineries in and around the region.As significant challenges to the US dollar persist, keeping it (the dollar) on a steady pace to become little more than a footnote in history by early 2011, near or around the two-weeks that bookend the August 16 lunar full moon eclipse we might see a repeat of the "conspiratorial" Bear Stearns large banking failure and subsequent global panic.

See! Okay, so the 'terror storm' that I envisioned for Texas did not arrive in the form of a suitcase nuke, but was instead a cat-3 Hurricane by the name of Ike who appears to have hit with the strength and leveled the type of wide spread devastation worthy of a small nuclear device. In my notes for the Summer Solstice posting Galveston and Houston are both named (hence the references to oil refineries) however and for whatever the reason, I didn't name either town specifically. Also, the timing here was off by some three weeks.

Naturally, we learn from our errors, so I choose to see these mistakes as a good thing. I am not discourage, because at least now, I can see how and why I got the timing wrong and perhaps improve upon this key area of prediction in the future.

Now, while I am on the subject of timing... 2-days ago, while working on a piece for the upcoming Mercury retrograde I began to review some of my writings and blog posts for the summer. I tend to blog only when the spirit moves me, that's all I can say. I don't know why some themes and thoughts seem more urgent to me than others, just that they do. Were anyone to ask me now several months removed, what my motivations were at the time or my mood or why I choose some of words over others, I probably couldn't say.

With the benefit of time though this is what I do know...

I know there is a little three-year-old girl named Caylee Marie from Orlando, Florida who is missing. She wants to be found. This patient, brave spirit is waiting - waiting on us all. She desperately wishes to pass-on some information, things she wishes for all of us to know.

With the benefit of time, knowing now what I didn't and couldn't have possibly known on June 18, 2008, or July 5, 2008, or on July 16, 2008... all I can say is; George and Cindy Anthony, if you are out there, you know why these dates are important and now I believe Caylee wishes only that you listen.

A Stargazers Notebook: Venus-Mars 15 Libra - Law of Attraction

Hello Stargazers. I will need to keep this posting brief, but I would feel completely remiss if I did not address the sizzling sexy event happening tonight between the planet Mars (our desires) and Venus (our wants).

The 'exact' conjunction between these cosmic lovers takes place at 10:06 pm EDT - making this not only a special night, but its also one of those rare occasions where our desires line up perfectly with that which we most want.

If you've been recently estranged from someone you love, this is a good night for laying down your sword and calling a truce. If you need to 'clear the air' or if you've been wanting to have a heart to heart conversation with a certain someone, tonight is the night. Trust me, it should go really, really well.

Consequently, what the guys out there need to understand about this cosmic event is that for at least the time being, they happen to be at a natural disadvantage, which sorry to say, tends to be the case when Mars (the masculine principle) finds himself out of his element, or put another way, in transit of Libra.

Venus (the feminine principle) on the other hand, she is at ease and sitting pretty in the sign that she rules - Libra. In this situation, at least for now, Venus has got all the power. Or should I say, even more power than usual. In other words guys, any conflict or argument you may be having with your sweetie, cannot be won. Most likely, you're the one who is wrong, so stop making things worse. Frankly, its becoming embarrassing to watch.

If you have recently said or done something really f'ing stupid, ... a simple "sorry" and smile will not cut it, and please, oh god! do not bother sending flowers. There is an Aquarius Moon in the mix tonight, so you're gonna have to do a little better than just offering predictable cliches' and boring, empty gestures. At the very least, we're talking something like an expensive shrimp
dinner, a really nice bottle of wine, and maybe even tickets to a
show or concert. If what she really wants is a more serious commitment or engagement ring ... sorry to hear that, but the good news is you really couldn't ask for a more magical evening than this to pop the question!

Here's the point, whatever you choose to do, it had better have some shock
value behind it. It had better take the breath away. If not, you can just pack it in and forget it. This moment will come and go, in fact the window of opportunity is nearly passed. This is a one shot deal and time is running out ... and Venus is prepared to move on ahead of you, and also without you.

Everyone else, male and female, if you know your chart and you know where 15 degrees of Libra falls in your chart, its here on this area of your chart you will want to focus your point of attraction. Keep in mind that nothing is beyond reach ... so aim high, dream BIG and most of all enjoy.

A Stargazers Notebook: Caylee Anthony - The Mystery Continues

Having some spare time this weekend, I thought it might be a good idea to update readers of the Stargazers Notebook blog on recent developments in the case of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony.

The response to this blog and interest in this particular topic has been enourmous and I might add has completely caught me off guard. I have enjoyed your feedback and I am always happy to answer questions and comments put to me, but due to other commitments please understand, I cannot afford to spend the time I have going over old information.

I hardly know where to start, but here is a quick rundown of the more important developments since my last posting nearly a month ago:

August 17 – Leonard Padilla, a bail bondsman from Sacramento, California, arrives in Orlando after making arraignments to pay Casey Anthony's $500,000 bail. Padilla tells the media he has been following the case closely and is convinced that Caylee will not be found as long as Casey Anthony is behind bars.



August 21 – Casey is released from the Orange County jail at approximately 10:30 am.

August 26 - Prosecutors release over 400 pages of court documents in the Caylee Anthony case. Several new details are revealed within the documents, which paint an even bleaker picture of Casey Anthony's inner workings.

August 27 - Lab test results of air samples that were taken from Casey Anthony's car allegedly show that a decomposing human body had been inside the trunk. Prosecutors offer Casey Anthony a partial immunity deal, in exchange for her admission that Caylee Anthony died as a result of an accident.

August 28 - According to sources close to the investigation, DNA tests that were conducted on stain and hair samples found in the trunk of the car Casey Anthony was driving indicate that her daughter, 3-year-old Caylee Anthony, is dead. As a result of these developments, bounty hunter Leonard Padilla and his nephew, Tony Padilla, announce that they intend to revoke Anthony's bond and begin working on revocation paperwork, which would result in Casey Anthony being placed back behind bars.

August 29 - Casey Anthony returns to jail, but not on any charges related to her missing 3-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. This time around Casey Anthony was arrested on three new charges: uttering a forged instrument, fraudulent use of personal information and petty theft. Anthony's bond is set at $3,000; however only 10 percent - $300 - needs to be paid in order to bail her out.



September 3 - Sources close to the investigation report that "significant levels" of chloroform were found in the car used by missing Caylee Anthony's mom Casey. Sources also said that Casey's home computer showed someone had searched for information on chloroform and how to use it. On this same day, the Orange County Sheriff's Office files six additional charges against Casey Anthony, which include two counts each of fraudulent use of personal identification, uttering a forged check and petty theft.

September 5 - Casey Anthony is out of jail - again, released just after 10 a.m. EDT after posting her $500,000 bond - again, for the second time.

September 7 - The most important question in the case goes unanswered, "What happened to Caylee Anthony?"

As infuriating and insane as it all seems to the casual observer, if my two-cents is worth anything, I would advise everyone to remain patient and calm. All is well. Everything, believe it or not, is unfolding exactly as it should, when it should, and how it should. Trust me.



For the benefit of those who are unfamiliar with how I come about my opinions and judgments, understand what I do here is I employ a method known as forensic astrology, which in laymen terms means that I utilize the science of astrology. Yes, seriously, we're talking planets and stars here.

I am not, nor do I claim to be 'psychic' at least not in the way most people have come to define the word. Let me be perfectly clear here, I do not see dead people. I do not receive images in dreams or by holding hairbrushes nor do I believe I would ever be able to receive visions simply by re-visiting the scene or location of a crime. Sorry to say, but I'm just not that talented or gifted.

My information comes the hard way, it comes through years and years of laborious study and perhaps more to the point from astrological charts that are erected on the time and location a crime or missing person becomes an 'active' investigation. I use this method, forensic astrology, to unravel riddles, obtain clues, pinpoint motives, profile criminals and with any luck, solve crimes. Its that simple.



So, with that little bit of housekeeping out of the way, lets move our attention to the chart above, which was drawn on the day, hour, and location to represent the moment the disappearance of Caylee Anthony became not only a public matter, but a matter for law enforcement.

Since, the mystery that is Caylee Anthony remains an active and ongoing investigation, I'd like to use my time talking more about those who are entrusted with the two-fold responsibility of having to solve complex crimes and bring the guilty to justice. I believe that law enforcement remains committed to this end. I believe to exercise patience and faith will bring about the end - soon

Understand, the planets, stars, sensitive points, signs, aspects and houses of a horoscope all provide highly accurate descriptions of the person, place, or thing for which the chart is drawn. It doesn't cause the entity to be what it is, rather, it simply reflects what is there, what is coming into being. Here, the chart above was drawn to represent the moment the case of a missing 3-year-old child, Caylee Marie Anthony, crossed the lead investigators desk. It was at this moment the question "What happened to Caylee Anthony" was born.

The tenth house represents the police, law enforcement, and the prosecutors office. A critical sensitive degree of Capricorn appears on the tenth house cusp, meaning the pressure and sense of urgency they feel to solve this has been there since day one.
The no-nonsense planet Saturn is the ruler of the tenth house cusp and is placed in the fifth house of fun and games. Saturn, or shall I say, law enforcement since go has been jerked around, lied to, and led on one wild goose chase after another. Notice, in this chart Casey Anthony is ruled by the planet Mars. Mars is also placed in the fifth house in the sign of Virgo.

The sign of Virgo is a eagle-eyed, sharp, precise, detail oriented sign. Notice in the chart that Mars (Casey) is slightly ahead of Saturn (law enforcement) indicating that from the beginning Casey has had the advantage of a head start - a full month of which to cover her tracks and to develop a movie like, juicy complex plot. Mars, because it is also a swifter moving planet than Saturn, remains a few steps ahead of law enforcement, or so it would seem.

Having the advantage of a head start does not mean that we should ever underestimate Saturn. Saturn is the planet of consequence and karma. Where Saturn is concerned sometimes its necessary that the wheels of justice move slowly.

Caylee Anthony is dead, that I am sorry to say appears to be the hard reality we all must face. Not to be rude here, but Cindy and George Anthony, let me say that NOW might be a good time to pull head out of ass. If I might be so bold, you are both missing the forest for the trees. Your suffering and your loss is not in vain, you both have a much bigger more meaningful role to play here and its not that of the wack-job delusional parents, especially YOU Cindy, you need to drop the dangerously enabling mom routine. You need to understand that you've been chosen, chosen to become an advocate and champion for the rights of grandparents in this country. Do you not see this? Do you not see that Caylee lived and died precisely for this purpose?



Many visitors and regular readers to this blog have contacted me privately voicing concerns that somehow they believe the parents, Cindy and George, are themselves 'guilty' of something.

To my readers and to both Cindy and George Anthony I would say that there is a big difference between being guilty of something and feeling guilt about something. Ultimately, blame and guilt solve nothing.

Generally speaking, Saturn is the planet that most represents guilt and blame, yet Saturn also represents the grown-up adult world, duty, and moral responsibility. When we accept responsibility for our thoughts and actions, there is no need to blame others. I would also say to my readers and to both Cindy and George Anthony, if there is blame to be had here we know where the blame belongs, and if there is guilt here to be felt, we know who it is who should feel some.

Every moment of every day we have opportunities to make choices - choices in how we think, how we respond, how we behave. These choices overtime accumulate into destiny. Even when random and odd things seem to just "happen" to us, we still have a choices in how we respond to these events. Our choices make a difference, much like taking a right turn instead of a left at a crossroad will make a difference in where you end up eventually. None of us are responsible or can be blamed for the choices that others make, its complete nonsense to believe otherwise.

But I digress ...

In this chart Caylee Anthony is ruled by the seventh house, Venus is the ruler, as well, Venus is the natural ruler of little girls and daughters. Venus 4 Leo is below the earth in the fourth house (the grave), the fourth is a water house, Leo a fire sign, which in my opinion indicates death or tragedy while at play, outdoors, in water.

I continue to maintain that I believe this child died at home and more than likely drowned in the family pool. I believe her body was recovered from the water and placed near or in the backyard playhouse for a time while Casey went about her private panic, but then eventually moved the child from the yard to inside the trunk of her car for obvious reasons and until such time she could dispose of Caylee's body. While I believe Caylee died in a water related accident, I don't believe the place she rests now is watery in nature, perhaps near water or something water related by name, but I do not believe the child will be found in a body of water.

I must say however that the chloroform revelation is an interesting development, especially when viewed from the natal horoscope of the child. Caylee Anthony is a Leo. Born at 7:14 am her Sun Leo (the life force) finds position in the twelfth house (muted secrets and hidden activity) opposite Neptune in Aquarius (silent poison in the blood stream) in the sixth house (of health and well-being.) It will not surprise me to learn at some point that these alleged searches on chloroform found on the home computer seized by authorities will be dated near or not too long after early February of this year, I say this due to the fact that powerful eclipse activity is present near the natal Sun-Neptune opposition in Caylee's horoscope.
On the day Caylee was last seen, June 15, Mars the planet of violence and cruelty is found crossing the angle of the child's Ascendant. If nothing else Mars confirms that Caylee was exposed to much anger and fighting around this period - not only was the child exposed to conflict, she was the focal point of the conflict. The fighting, anger, and ego-driven drama immediately surrounding the child during this period led to whatever happened to her - Mars is the trigger.

With that said, lets turn our attention back to the chart above. The Moon, ruler of the fourth house and co-ruler of Caylee Anthony, is in Capricorn, in the ninth house or we might say the turned third house. It should be said that the Moon is placed in a very powerful degree of Capricorn known as a 'world point' degree, and its this placement on the world point that explains the intense media coverage and national exposure afforded to the Caylee Anthony case. The Moon also indicates that "the child is close by." She's in the neighborhood and within 4 miles of the place she called home. Capricorn is descriptive of deep woods, old trees, heavy stones, haunted areas, and places most would consider dark and creepy. Yet, the ninth house / third house placement of the Moon says this area is also highly traveled, busy, but keeping to the Moon in Capricorn its also private. Venus in Leo hints at places of recreation and celebration, ballroom dancing, wedding halls and lavish pampering come to mind, but its also a place where children can play, outdoors sports and games are involved as are things we'd connect with Kings and royalty, an official crest or insignia of some sort also seems significant.

Either way, Jupiter is about to reverse direction and move forward, meaning a change - a big change is coming. Actually, there's a lot of activity occupying the heavens over the next couple days leading to the full harvest moon, so get ready for a wild and unpredictable week. The harvest moon is the time of reaping all that we have sown. It's here at the harvest that we meet the accumulative sum of every seed we've planted and every choice we've made in the last six-months. C'mon lets say it together; whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

September 8 - Transiting Mercury 13 Libra ruler of the third house along with Mars 13 Libra hit a critical phase, both align with the angle representing law enforcement. The transiting Sun 16 Virgo assists tenth house Jupiter, on the very same day both Jupiter and Pluto make a dramatic turn for the better. We might want to watch for the potential big break in this case - the gamechanger, that finally turns things around.

September 15 - Revelation! Here it comes folks, September 15th will mark 3-months to the very day that anyone is known to have seen Caylee Anthony alive. Venus rules Caylee, and its important to remember that Caylee has been hidden, tucked away, below the horizon, in the fourth house. However, the planets are not static they remain in motion even if the person they represent has passed on. Venus, now in Libra, is strong by both sign and house and ready to rise up out of the obscure darkness, above the horizon. Then on the very same day Venus is due to reemerge, the full moon will arrive. The Moon co-rules Caylee Anthony, and will align with Uranus (planet of shock, upset and surprise.) This particular full moon will be explosive, emotional and draining, so it is possible, very possible, whatever unforeseen developments arise during this weekend they will indeed stun the senses and alter the course of this entire matter.

A Stargazers Notebook: Obama plot wasn’t credible?

(AP) - Authorities are investigating whether a man arrested with rifles, ammunition and drugs in his truck made statements threatening Barack Obama, but emphasize he never posed a "credible threat" to the candidate or the Democratic National Convention.

Federal and local authorities had scheduled a news conference for Tuesday afternoon, but U.S. Attorney Troy Eid downplayed the case. "We're absolutely confident there is no credible threat to the candidate, the Democratic National Convention, or the people of Colorado," Eid said in a statement.

FBI spokeswoman Kathy Wright confirmed the FBI was investigating reports the man had threatened Obama, who will be in Denver this week to accept the Democratic nomination for president. The Joint Information Center - a command set up by city, state and federal authorities to field media inquiries during the Democratic convention - said it had no immediate comment.

The action started around 1:30 a.m. Sunday when police in the eastern suburb of Aurora stopped a truck that was swerving erratically.

The driver, 28-year-old Tharin Gartrell, had a suspended driver's license, and the truck was rented in the name of another person, said Aurora police Detective Marcus Dudley.

In the truck, officers found two rifles, including one with a scope; a bulletproof vest; boxes of ammunition; walkie-talkies; and suspected narcotics, Dudley said. Aurora police, on edge because of heightened security surrounding the Democratic convention in Denver, alerted federal authorities.

Three hours later, at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, federal agents arrested Nathan Johnson, 32, at a hotel in Denver. He was being held on drug charges, Dudley said.

A half-hour after that, 33-year-old Shawn Robert Adolf jumped from a sixth-story window when authorities tried to arrest him at a hotel in suburban Glendale, police said. Adolf was hospitalized and was being held on $1 million bond for several outstanding warrants involving drug charges.

Dudley didn't say what tied the men together but said more arrests were possible. One of the rifles was stolen, and authorities had traced it to Kansas, Dudley said.

It wasn't known if the three men had attorneys, Dudley said.

Dudley said Gartrell was being investigated for methamphetamine and firearms violations. Gartrell, who has no known address, was being held at the Arapahoe County jail on $50,000 bail on drug and weapons charges. The jail said he was due in court Thursday.

The third person arrested was a woman described by federal authorities as the girlfriend of one of the men.

Law enforcement officials were also investigating whether the men were linked to vandalism shootings that targeted at least two federal buildings in Denver over the past two weeks. Windows were shot at the U.S. Custom House and the U.S. Military Entrance Processing Station on the same street in Denver's downtown Federal District.

Additionally, a bullet was recovered from a Hertz rental car that was hit on Aug. 15, and authorities are now looking to see if it could have matched the guns seized from the men.

The strange thing about the chart which I have drawn to represent the moment authorities pulled over and busted the first dude, 28-year-old Tharin Gartrell, is how very much it resembles the 2008 Autumn Equinox chart drawn for Washington, DC. The Autumn Equinox by the way, is an event that hasn't happened yet.

At any rate, the key planetary configurations are; Scorpio rising and Algol setting on the Descendant (of open enemies both foreign and domestic). Venus, lord of the seventh house, placed high in the tenth at 22 Virgo aligned with Neptune (of hoax, deception, patsies and willing dupes) from the third. Waning last quarter Moon in Gemini seventh house quincunx Jupiter at 12 Capricorn, second house. Last Q Moon opposition to Pluto (of plots and assassination) will be the last aspect before leaving the sign of Gemini.

From this I suspect the following; Venus quincunx Neptune shows that while it looks like a "plot" among compatible losers to do something sinister, something here is off.

I don't know the "plot" here was to kill the democratic nominee but rather it looks like the intention may have been to holdup a bank or maybe to sabotage some other government institution while authorities were distracted and focused solely on providing convention security. Moon seventh house quincunx Jupiter in Capricorn second house says that money or targeting those who have lots of it (like the government) was a huge factor for this collaboration of morons.

It's not surprising that a large assortment of american neo-Nazis, Klansmen, skinheads and other organized hate groups and racists who make up this country's radical far-right don't embrace with warm fuzzies the idea of a Barack Obama presidency. Of course this reality gives the theory of a few drug-crazed white supremacists acting independently more verisimilitude.

The waning Moon Gemini making its last aspect to Pluto, just as this "plot" story was hitting the AP wire, says that Pluto (the shadowy master hand) is revealing to the public, (Moon) the sketchy, partial details known as the backstory, this as they build up to the main event.

An event, that hasn't happened, not yet.

A Stargazers Notebook: Casey Anthony phone calls shed new light

ORANGE COUNTY, FL -- Records detailing some of Casey Anthony's phone calls just before her daughter was reported missing have come to light.

The phone records, leaked to FOX News and reported by Orlando station WFTV, show that Casey called her parents six times in just over an hour on June 16.  The records reveal names and times.

The leaked records reportedly show a call to her father shortly after 3 p.m. and the last made to her mother's cell phone just before 4:30 p.m.  Calls to her mother's work number and her ex-fiance, Jesse Grund, were also made during that time period.

In the chart for June 16, 2008, at 3:03 pm, which represents the first phone-call which is placed from Casey to her dad George Anthony's cell-phone, Libra is rising on the Ascendant and Aries is setting on the Descendant. Remember now, just two-hours earlier, at 12:50 pm, George Anthony claims that he spoke to both Casey and Caylee as they were leaving the house. Then George himself leaves the house at 2:30 pm.
No one has seen 3-year-old Caylee Anthony since.

The chart ruler, Venus at 28* Gemini is above the horizon, in the ninth house, of travel and legal matters. Venus represents Casey Anthony. Venus is coming to opposition with Pluto at 29* Sagittarius, in the third house, of communication. Venus is disposed of by Mercury at 13* Gemini, retrograde, in the eighth house. Venus also co-rules the eighth house, of debts and death.

Venus shows that Casey is nearby her family home, in the neighborhood, possibly calling her dad while in the car driving. She is coming back from visiting a male friend (Venus is with the Sun, ninth house.) This visit did either not happen as planned or there had been trouble between Venus and the Sun which kept the visit from happening.

Both Venus and Sun in Gemini are under the rulership of Mercury at 13* Gemini, retrograde in motion, eighth house. Mercury suggests there may have been trouble between Casey and this male friend in the recent past; sneaking around, broken promises, injurious gossip or rumors, secrets, jealousy, mistrust, selfish arguments, and cheating are all possibilities.

Mercury is the natural ruler of small children. So another possibility is that Caylee; sharp, intelligent, observant and talking, had recently and very innocently and inadvertently spilled the beans to Grandma concerning something her mother was doing or not doing. In turn, Grandma Cindy, may have been using Caylee as her little spy so she could figure out what was going on with her daughter. Either way, on this day it appears an innocent conversation, malicious rumor, or unraveling secret suddenly changed the direction of Casey's relationships or romance, or both.

Clearly a situation of confrontation and conflict appears to have come to a head. The opposition of Venus to Pluto shows Casey at her wits end, trapped, and in trouble. She appears to be feeling threatened by legal ultimatums and pressured by a multiple of other challenges.

A look at a sunrise birth chart for Casey Anthony (born: March 19, 1986) shows the natal Sun at 29* Pisces caught up in the opposition between transiting Venus at 28* Gemini and Pluto at 29* Sagittarius. This planetary picture shows Casey to be intensely infatuated with her new boyfriend, one might say, fanatically so, although she may have had two relationships going at the same time ... one of which may be completely made-up or platonic.

Of the boyfriend, she appears to be suspicious of his many female admirers and jealous of his life and lifestyle; she's insecure and feels threatened; she is vigilantly protecting herself from rivals, she trusts no one, she is fearful and afraid of being replaced and displaced, and the mental anguish she is feeling is reaching a point of maximum overload.

I don't know but it seems to me that on this day Casey was experiencing extreme brain strain due to confusion and difficulties over a particular man, most likely her boyfriend, Anthony Lazzaro. She has two lives going at the same time (Venus in Gemini). Transiting Uranus at 22* Pisces is hovering upon her natal Mercury at 23* Pisces square Uranus at 22* Sagittarius. Her behavior is strange, erratic and brash. Her thoughts at this point have gone wild. She's mixed-up and confused, she wants to find her freedom and have fun. She wants to be someone else, she wants to be free so she can go on short trips, accept sudden invitations and seek new opportunities. She wants to shine socially, have it all with this guy, and live life to the fullest.

Her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, and her own mother are the only obstacles in her way.

The Moon at 4* Sagittarius, a critical degree, in the second house of money and possessions, shows an emotional extravagance brought on by wanting to be free and with the one she loves, but can't due to unsurmountable obstacles imposed on her by others, by motherhood, and circumstance. Unbeknownst to her parents, Casey's job is fictitious, she is out of work, broke, stealing money, and not actively seeking reliable employment.

Both the Moon and Pluto are disposed of by Jupiter at 20* Capricorn. Jupiter is right at the Nadir (fourth house cusp). It appears that Casey's agenda at 3:03 pm, her reason for calling her dad, was to make sure he had left the house for work ... because it appears Casey's plan is to return home.



By 4:10 pm, Scorpio is rising and the sign of Taurus is setting. Venus, ruler of both 7th and 12th houses is in the eighth house with the Sun and Mercury. Caylee is represented by the seventh house, she is ruled by Venus. Casey is represented by the first house, she is ruled by Mars.

Mars at 21* Leo is in the tenth house, opposite both Chiron and Neptune in the fourth house. Mars is also the focal point of a Yod (Hand of Destiny) involving Jupiter at 20 Capricorn, third house and Uranus 22* Pisces in the fifth house.

The Yod is a configuration involving three planets in which two planets form a sextile (60* degree aspect), and both of them form an inconjunct (150* aspect) to a third planet. The Yod is said to indicate random twists of fate, often accompanied by disruptive, far-reaching changes. This is where the chart becomes most interesting and revealing.

With Mars in the tenth house we can assume Casey returned home with Caylee perhaps to get a head start on covering her tracks and ass concerning the multitude of lies she had told up until this point. She is tense, anxious, and frustrated by the intolerable demands and conditions or restrictions placed on her by mom or by circumstance. Mars inconjunct Uranus says Casey feels things are beginning to break, fall apart, or they're just not going the way she wants them to. She is deeply disturbed about her affairs in general. Mars opposite Chiron and Neptune offers that Casey's unhealthy desires and overindulgences in alcohol, drugs and sex have all undermined her health and ability to work, and unfortunately have a lot to do with what happens next.

Casey is edgy and irritable because she feels locked into a situation she wants out of. She is rash, impatient and emotionally capable of ill-considered actions, such as placing Caylee into the backyard above ground pool to play. Casey does this so that Caylee does not disturb things in the house or her. Uranus, the planet of deadly accidents and shocking events in the fifth house of children and recreation shows that something completely unexpected and bizarre took place.

Venus in the eighth house opposite Pluto shows that the 4:10 pm phone-call to Cindy at work may represent the moment Casey recovered Caylee's unconscious and lifeless body from the bottom of the family pool.

I believe Casey tried to revive her daughter, but to no avail. Mars in Leo (the hero) opposite Neptune says as much. I believe the 'flurry' of phone-calls placed one minute apart from Casey's cell-phone to her mom were made in an attempt to get emergency CPR instruction or advice. I believe by 4:15 pm Casey gives up, realizing her daughter is dead. I think Casey then, in a panic, and in utter disbelief, places the lifeless child in the backyard playhouse until she can figure out how to proceed next. She cannot believe what has just happened.

She calls boyfriend Tony at 4:19 pm, and then a few minutes later at 4:21 pm calls ex-boyfriend Jesse. Three minutes later at 4:24 pm she calls mom Cindy's cell-phone one last time. No phone-calls are made from her cell until 6:32 pm.

One thing is clear, whatever happened would not have happened if Casey had ever learned to deal with her Mars-Uranus restlessness. If not for her inability to adjust to rules, routine and responsibility, she may not have earned the reputation for being a bad employment and credit risk. Her explosive temper, antagonistic sarcasm, rash impatience, and know-it-all attitude, all of which are a product of Mars-Uranus in the birth chart, also have a lot to do with how this turned out.

The Yod between Mars (Casey), Jupiter in Capricorn (mom, Cindy) and Uranus in the fifth house shows the odd triangular relationship going on here, as well as the tug-of-war going on between the dueling moms Casey and Cindy over 2-year-old Caylee.



At 6:32 pm, following a two-hour gap in Casey's 'flurry' of communications, she places a call from her cell-phone to her mom at home, then a minute later she checks her voicemail. The sign of Scorpio has given away to Sagittarius which rises on the Ascendant while Gemini falls on the Descendant. The Sun along with Mercury and Venus in Gemini have moved to the seventh house where they will soon dip below the horizon. Mars has moved to the ninth house, Chiron and Neptune are in the third. The waxing to full Moon, ruler of the eighth house, at 6* Sagittarius is nearing the Ascendant. Pluto is with the Moon in the first house.

Mars in the ninth house of legal issues and travel along with the degree of the Ascendant at 2* Sagittarius tells us all we need to know about events and the prevailing mood surrounding this period. According to the fixed stars 2* Sagittarius is where we find Akrab or Delta Scorpii and Beta Scorpii. Akrab is credited with giving an ability to be present, and especially research into things of a particularly secret and hidden nature. Akrab also shows a tendency to falsehood and betrayal. It is also important to point out that catastrophic falls and injury also come under the realm of Akrab.

If Casey ever felt remorse or experienced sadness over losing her daughter it would have occurred in this period, but her grief would be short-lived. She is busy during this time coming up with a Jupiter size tall-tale, one that will have her taking a sudden short trip, flight from home is indicated but nothing far, nor permanent. Mars in the ninth house opposite Neptune says she does not know where she is going or what she's going to do. She realizes at this point that life is out of her hands and there's nothing she can do to change what has occurred. She is surrendering to the notion "it is what it is" and "whatever will be is going to be."
