ok so pretty much anybody who is going to actually take the time to read this probably already knows about my pop dying last month. 

Shortly before the death of my father, one of my uncles whom had recently undergone  a liver transplant began having complications due to a huge doctor's error, now it looks like he won't make it much longer, maybe a week or so.

Around the same time as my father died another uncle was diagnosed with cancer and was told it was pretty advanced.  Now he is having all sorts of issues.

I guess my and my families shit sandwich was not large enough so the good Lord thought it well enough needed to make yet another one of my uncles knock on death's door. 

Earlier today my uncle Nick, was in a motorcycle accident.  He is in a hospital in PA and is listed as critical.  He's a pretty tough cat though and I think he can pull through, his injuries are too numerous to count or list.

If you read this and believe in God, or any higher power throw a few words toward Him/Her for my family, if you don't then just keep them in mind.  I'm fine, I'm always ok, but some of my family members are being taxed farther then I think they have ever been before.

p.s.  I know it sounded like I was blaming God before but I am not, that was just my effort at some sarcastic humor, I know the lord is there for my family in their time of need.

I know I'm not the only white guy out there who has had this happen to them, or at least I hope I'm not.  I'm standing there doing my job at the club I bounce at when some po-dunk ignoramus comes up and says "it's getting awful dark in here huh" and smiles like he's being funny.  I can tell you he was not talking about the amount of light in the club at that moment.  This scenario happens to me at least two times a month while I'm working, maybe more.  Most ignorant racist scumbags must think that because I'm white that automatically makes me a racist ignorant piece of filth like them.  Maybe it's because deep down inside they know the way they feel about non-white people is wrong and they need to get approval from someone else for those thoughts?  I don't know.  I do know it has been very old for a very long time.  I do know that it  makes me want to snap their fuckin necks every time one of them says something like that to me.  Or better yet when I say "don't talk to me" or "get your racist scumbag face away from me" the look on their faces is almost indescribable.  Like "hey wait a minute your a white guy you're supposed to think this way to."  Fuck all of them

All this ignorance and blind hatred does is cause me to delve deeper into my misanthropic pit of despair.  Humanity might truly be fucked.

Hip Hop vs. America II

I watched a discussion program on BET tonight entitled Hip Hop vs. America II.  The discussion focused on misogyny, the battle of race vs. sex in Hip Hop culture, and media influence on the perception of African Americans in America. 

            First I have to say this was one of the most intelligent and thought provoking programs I have ever watched.  It's almost impossible to turn the TV on and find something truly intellectual on.  The history channel, discover channel, and TLC mask a couch potato quagmire with guises of IQ enhancing programs, when in actuality very few truly important topics are covered.  This program tackled truly relevant topics head on not wavering in the least. 

            One point that resonated deeply with me was that Black Americans are held to a different standard then White Americans in the eyes of the law, and the public.  A proposal was made that when a White American gets caught doing drugs and breaking laws he can still become president, while if a Black American does the same things he gets incarcerated.  While I do agree to some degree with this synopsis I have different reasons and a different overall view of why this scenario occurs. 

I believe that to proclaim that any white male will be treated better then any black male is not rational, I do not believe that this was the point the speakers were trying to make, however it came across as such.  I believe that Black Americans do have a stigma attached to them in the eyes of the law and therefore are more likely to be prosecuted for crimes some White Americans might be able to get away with.  It is my finding however that race is not the predominant element in determining who will get away with crimes and who will not.  Social class/status and wealth are the determining factors in such instances.  I believe that by making race the issue in such a discussion one takes focus off the real problem in America which is the distinct social stratification of western society.

It is obvious through media examples alone that wealthy upper class Americans get away with crimes that would surely land many middle and lower class citizens in prison.  I believe there are examples of all races beating the system in situations which would certainly impede the freedom of the common person.  From OJ and R. Kelly to Paris Hilton and Robert Blake celebrities and the rich show time and time again that they are in essence above the law.  I am not saying race is irrelevant; rather that it is not the culprit of the greatest discriminations in the current American "Injustice" system. 

I could go on about the other topics and arguments debated throughout this program, but I'm sure most people who happen across this rant will not take the time to read it anyway.  If you do and would like to discuss this or any intellectual topics by all means hit me up, I love a good conversation.

How overly PC can we as a society get.  "It's in the best interest for .... if he is integrated back into society now rather then later."

Who the hell cares what's in this murderer's bext interest?  Did he take the best interest of his victims into consideration before brutally killing innocent people, I don't fuckin think so.

I hope he does not kill again.  I hope he stays away from my family. 

I have nothing but contempt for this peice of filth.

I thought that after my last dealing with our In-Justice system I was angry, But now I am tottally disheartened.  What has become of our country???
