In the past 9 months I've learned so much about the opposite sex. I no longer sit and wait to see, hoping that "he'd" give me a chance to show him I'm worth his time. Lingering around until that one day "he'd" just disappear with out a "goodbye" or even a trace. These actions brought me shame, sorrow, loneliness and thoughts. Was it me? But now I know it was not me, it was just fate and things happen for a reason. I accept this into my life knowing that one day everything will fall in place. For now, I'm happy and hold my head up high knowing I have loved ones around me and that's all I need...

Why C <3's Pick: Singer/Song writer, Andrew McMahon of Something Corporate, teamed up with numerous musicians to come with what came up to be Jacks Mannequin. "Everything In Transit" was released in August 2005 and started hitting the airwaves hard that summer but due to being diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia that June, he had to cancel his summer tour but has recovered fully. Man...it's just amazing :)

Why C <3's Pick:This Ocala, Florida has made such a huge impact on the local Hardcore scene and have been growing each and every time they pass through the SoCal area. I've seen these guys several times and every time was always super energetic and I always have a new memory to keep in the books. Recently coming out with a DVD/CD set which includes a re-recording of their most popular requested song "You Should Have Killed Me When You Had The Chance". They are influenced by a great variety of music from Metal to Indie and are also a local Orange County band that perfectly stands out. They have a perfect mix of singing and screaming that'll satisfy anyone that listens to Underoath, A Day To Remember, Haste The Day and other amazing bands. Why C<3 Pick: What can I say about Hanging On Halos? They are TRUELY amazing! From when I heard their music off their website I fell totally in love. With vocals that remind me of FATA and AFI not to mention Luke's lyrics are beautiful, including a GREAT lead guitarist doing solo's, a sexy bassist, a rad rhythm guitarist and a steady drum beater, what more could you ask for? Why C's <3 Pick: This band randomly added me on Myspace and I automatically fell in love with their upbeat sound. Their CD "We Are Wolves, We Are Not Loved", is perfect all the way through. I love the vocals coming from singer DD Ball are unique and are amazing to listen to. I melt every single time I listen to their music (Bonus is that they are from the UK heehehe). Over all, this band is a must on my play list!

Snowboarding Trip Round 2

So yes we FINALLY got up to Sumit and was it fun and very interesting. According to two of the girls I went with (Nicole I LOVE YOU!! & Crystal) they said I was doing pretty damn good for being my first time. Of course I ate shit (not literally): when I got off the lift and when I was learning how to stand AND when I was learning my front/back edge. But then I kind of got the hang of it. I almost made it all the way down the mountain but decided to give up about 60ft towards the end. I was just way worn out. As for Alicia, I love you for trying!!! Even though you got a boo boo I still love you for being a good sport and going with us. Picture's will soon be put up, and I heard there was one of me in action of face planting (WOOOOO).

Snowboarding Trip Round 1
Current mood: disappointed

Today was the day I was looking forward to the most out of probably anything in my life. Snowboarding for the very first time with my buddies Nicole and Sean. We got up around 5am and started to head out at 6am. By the time we got to the bottom of the mountain we got out to put our chain's on even though the roads didn't look too bad. Well the tightener decided to bust so this is just bad news already. We had one chain on and it started to snow pretty hard. By the time we figured out that we were going to go back down to buy a new one a police officer was driving passed telling everyone that the road ahead is closed due to morons not putting chain's on. Bummer!!!
We decided to go get some grub at Denny's and then wait and see if it cleared. It was still snowing pretty hard so there was no chance in going back up the mountain. Even the power at Denny's went out. I guess there was a reason for us not to go up there today. As for my first time snowboarding, it'll be delayed until the 20th. Hopefully things work out then.
But for now, I'm going to get some sleep, wash my car after my nap and hopefully tonight is a good night.
