THE RESULTS ARE IN
Franka is... a sooty palomino!
I knew she was a dilute, but was pretty convinced (with the dark legs and tail) that she would DNA test as a buckskin, despite her blonde mane. Now I can't wait to see what she looks like when she sheds out her foal coat! 
I've always loved sooty palominos, but this is the first time that I have known one that is also a warmblood. Here is a photo of a beautiful Morgan stallion to give you an idea of what her mature color may be:

IT'S A GIRL!!
Roxy had her foal on April 1st, a beautiful filly named Franka.
Franka is Yeager's second filly, and she surprized us all by arriving with both a blonde mane and a dark tail -- we will have to DNA test her to be sure what color she is (buckskin or sooty palomino).
She is very leggy and refined, a light, airy mover with a lovely, feminine head and an uphill build. We can't wait to see what she'll look like all grown up! Photos are on the website, www.warmblood-color.com

YEAGER’S FIRST FOAL OF 2008!
Yeager's first foal of 2008 arrived yesterday morning -
A beautiful Palomino filly with a big blaze!
Congratulations to Teresa and Allison, proud new 'Horse Grandmas'. : )
We are very excited to hear about this pretty girl, she is Yeager's first filly and first palomino baby.
Now we anxiously await our own first of the year to be born. Roxy is due any day! Photos of the new arrivals should be posted at www.warmblood-color.com soon.

UPDATE
Wow, so much has been happening it's been hard to keep up!
(Yeager's Odin, 8/11/07)
FOALS
Current news is that we will be seeing a lot more Yeager foals arriving this spring after his first season without limited bookings. So far, Yeager has had 50% dilute babies and 100% boys. We're hoping for some fillies and palominos to be born in 2008. And the best news, all of his foals on the ground have now been registered and premium awarded with RPSI.
We will be expecting 2 Yeager foals this year ourselves. Wicca (RPSI mare, by Oldenburg stallion, Weltstern) is pregnant again, due 6/11/08. After seeing the last two foals produced from this cross, I can't wait to see these guys out there competing as adults - they have turned out to be such great movers and athletes. Roxy (TB) is also pregnant, due 4/1/08. It will be great to see how this Yeager foal compares to our last 2, which were both out of Wicca.

FACILITY
OUR MOST EXCITING NEWS: The new barn is due to be started next week!! I can't wait! Between that and our arena being usable now, we may even start to look like a real horse farm soon!

It's a BOY!!
Yeager and Wicca's 2007 foal just arrived! He was born 6/9/07.
'Odin' is a beautiful chestnut colt with 3 white socks and a huge star-stripe. He is super fancy and very sweet. Exactly what I was hoping for!

AERO'S FIRST BIRTHDAY
In two weeks, Aero turns 1 year old...hard to believe that we already need to be starting to get ready for this year's arrival!
I got to visit the upcoming birthday boy today, he looks happy as ever and is still a super sweetie. I just can't wait to see what he looks like when he's all grown up! There is a yearling gallery of him posted now on the website, so check it out!
