New Songs up

We've put up three new songs to replace the crusty ones that were there already. They are:

You'll notice that they're not available for download. That is because we're releasing them as part of an EP soon. We want to at least pretend that we're trying to re-coup the money we've spent on the thing. What are you going to do about it, tough guy?

A lazy and unmotivated bunch

We are a lazy and unmotivated bunch.

Since being evicted from our old practice room we have got together 3 maybe 4 times. It's not that we don't like each other or like playing it's just that sometimes we like sitting on couches drinking more.

We've had six songs recorded since March, a video finished since the end of the summer and a set that has not changed for the last year. All of these things are hanging over our heads. I think it's time for a change of pace.

After the gig with The Blood Red Shoes and The Minutes we'll take a break from playing live and get some new tunes together, release the songs, get the video out there and pull our heads out of our holes.

But taking everything above into account this could all be idle speculation.

Week of Failure

25/10/2007 - Play worst gig in the history of earth ever.

27/10/2007 - Suffer humiliating 12-1 defeat in music football league. Partly due to lack of star player Conor (seen below with his head stuck in a tree). Has nothing to do with fantastic goalkeeper.


29/10/2007 - Forced to move out of practice room due to reasons beyond our control.

So we haven't much to do. Anyone up for a pint?

We am after make a video

As some may be aware we are putting the finishing touches on an EP, to be released later this year. For max-efficient media saturation we also decided to make a video, callously taking money from the public to fund it.  It's all lego based/oriented.  To be honest I forget why. 

Either way we shot the bulk of the video this past weekend, using it as an excuse to don over-sized lego heads, togas, jumpsuits and formal wear.  The whole yoke should be finished in a month or two.  There's some pictures below.

Gig Sucess, money raised

Cheers to everyone who strolled along to the gig on the 27th, it went swimmingly and the necessary monies were raised to make a short lego based music video.  Thanks in particular to Lines, Bats and Getaway Faces for turning up and playing music. Thanks.

Welcome our new fifth member

Everyone I'm sure will join us in welcoming our newest member: Aldi's own-brand Benefit Flakes.  Aldi Benefit Flakes give us the strength we need to procrastinate and act like we're it when in fact we're not with max-efficiency.

Benefit Flakes is completely ecstatic to be joining us also, saying "Delicious crunchy rice and wheat flakes.  Tastes great with ice cold milk".


"Welcome aboard pal!"

But it wasn't all laughs.  When quizzed further Benefit Flakes showed steely determination regarding it's new responsibility with the band, stating "Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened close plastic bag after use and store in a dry place".

Join us one and all in welcoming what is sure to be an ace addition to our line-up.
