We hide darkness deep inside ourselves... and save it for those private moments where no one is around to hear our weakness.  Alone on those rocky bottom places that scrape away the tenderness... we seek solace on our solitary shore. 
Hope is the throbbing force that pumps the promise of tomorrow through our eyes.  Hope draws us... barefooted and unsteady... across those beaches that haven't been smoothed over by time.
